Five Prospects to Watch from New Brunswick

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Continuing to churn out regional-based content spanning the entire country of Canada it was time to dive into the smaller provinces and I was very impressed with some of the prospects I found from New Brunswick. Playing RT for Riverview Deslauriers has a good frame at 6'3 285lbs, especially at his age. On tape, he shows quick feet and solid movement skills. He plays with strong hands and is consistently maintaining and finishing his blocks. Deslaurier shows good power and the ability to move defensive linemen to open running lanes and space for ball carriers out of the backfield. Green is twitchy and quick routinely showcasing the ability to make guys miss. With just a little bit of open space, Green can turn anything into a long touchdown run. Green is a direct runner and does not spend much time moving laterally or bouncing runs outside but instead getting vertical and creating tough angles for defensive backs to catch him in pursuit. I would not consider Green a power runner but he has the strength to easily shake off arm tacklers through the hole and in the open field. Allen is an athletic two-way prospect who can play on the outside or from the slot as a WR, he also shows versatility as a defender with the ability to line up at corner or safety. Allen may not be the fastest or strongest on the field but he plays with really good instincts. Allen can block, create separation, and be a threat as a ball carrier offensively. Warman has a really good rip move to get around the edge and when you combine his upfield burst with his length and those violent hands, he consistently gets himself into winning positions off the snap. Warman also plays offensive tackle and at the position, his high-motor, length, and the same impressive hand usage we see defensively are all over his blocking reps. Long shows good speed, quickness, and change of direction in the open field with the ability to make defenders miss. Long who runs with long strides is a vertical threat who stretches the field consistently. He tracks the ball well and shows on tape to be a consistent ball catcher. Long is a smooth route runner and can create separation with his athletic ability.
