Reed has really seen his recruitment pick up over the last few months, and since also making the move to outside linebacker, where he projects out in college. He has already put together a very nice off-season and recently has taken visits to Boise State and Nevada, with Nevada offering him earlier in the winter and Idaho offering last month. He has the ideal size and athleticism for the linebacker position in college as he has cover abilities in space, is a fluid athlete and can also drop down and bang in the box while also able to rush the passer. He should continue to draw FBS interest/offers and will be one of the best players in the state this Fall.
Highlights
Krahn is a definite candidate to move up our rankings in the next update, and put together a very nice Junior season on both sides of the ball. He projects as an inside linebacker in college, and recently picked his first offer from Missouri State and should see other FCS interest come his way this off-season. As a Junior, he went over the 1,000 receiving yard marker and 15 TD’s, while adding another 60+ tackles and 9 TFL’s on defense and flashed his physical and explosive play style on both sides. Look for Krahn to continue on his busy off-season and be one of the top linebacker prospects across the state by the time he signs next February.
Traverso is one of the top safety prospects in Idaho, and is coming off a stellar Junior campaign which included yet another State Title for Bishop Kelly. He is a ball-hawking player that can cover the entire field in the back end with outstanding instincts, breaks quickly to ball carriers and pass catchers while bringing a nice thump at contact and an excellent and sound open field tackler in space. He is a very balanced player against the run and pass, and has return abilities as well in transition and should fit nicely at the FS position in college. He recently took a short trip to Boise State, and should be drawing other college interest in the coming months and through his Senior season and is a no brainer next level kid.
