Over the weekend I was asked about someone who I believed were some of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in Pennsylvania in the class of 2025 and who were some dual-threat quarterbacks that could be under the radar right now this spring. It was a good question and quite frankly, I had to go back and watch some updated tape and look at the numbers from last season to give an honest opinion.

Below, I go over a few of those quarterbacks that I think are worth noting in the class of 2025, but by no means are these the only dual-threat quarterbacks to know either. Some of these names you may already be familiar with while some others are players you may be learning about.

OTHERS TO KNOW

[player_tooltip player_id='386223' first='Jayden' last='Floyd'] - Leechburg

Intriguing prospect out of Leechburg, three-sport athlete (basketball, football, baseball). 56.0% completion percentage in 2023 and 8 passing touchdowns to eight interceptions. Will need to improve as a passer going forward but there is a foundation to work with. As a ball carrier, averaged 7.0 yards per carry and totaled 18 touchdowns on the ground.

Nolan Carey - Corry

The smallest quarterback on here, Carey is listed at 5-foot-9, if he could add another inch or two to his frame it would be beneficial but that of course is out of his hands. As a passer last year, he put up solid numbers, though his accuracy will need to improve. 49.8% completion percentage, over 1,500 total yards and 14 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. Improving accuracy and cutting down the turnovers will be pivotal for him going forward. On the ground, he averaged over five yards a carry this past season and seven touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1077294' first='Zander' last='Telesz'] - Hickory

Really nice size out of Telesz at 6-foot-3 and 165-pounds, obviously will need to add more weight but that will come with time. Posted solid passing stats this past season with a 54.5% completion percentage and 1,482 yards to go with 18 touchdowns while throwing seven interceptions. On the ground, runs very well for his size, averaging 5.2 yards per carry, had a long on the season of 51 yards and had 10 rushing touchdowns.
