Class of 2026 Rankings Update
The Class of 2026 Rankings are LIVE! The sophomore rankings are such a fun update to do. So many new names broke onto the varsity scene and earned a spot in the rankings. Athletes in this Class have also started grabbing the attention of college coaches. That includes OL James Thomas James Thomas 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Oak Creek | 2026 State WI who has earned his first offer from Arkansas. A few others also hold FBS offers. No doubt we are poised to see many of these kids playing on Saturday afternoons on the biggest stages. Lucky for us here in Wisconsin, we get to see these kids tear it up at the HS level for another two seasons before that.
This update is where we start to really see the Class take shape. We added over 75 athletes to the original list of 100 players. The depth in the D1, D2, and D3 talent pools all took big steps forward as we learned about more and more prospects. However, we are always looking for more to add to this group because we know there are so many more kids that deserve the spotlight that the rankings and Prospect Index provides them. So, if you know of anyone in the Class of 2026 that we are missing don’t hesitate to send me a DM at @MJ_NFLDraft on Twitter/X!
There are so many changes in the updated rankings. Starting right at the top, we have a brand new Top 10 that has been reshuffled with the debut of 4 athletes who were previously unranked. That trend carries throughout the rankings like the 11 new athletes in the Top 30 or 25 new athletes in the Top 50. This is another deep Class that is sure to continue to shift as we add more and more talent. High school football is going to be very competitive because of the talent depth, and because that talent is spread across the entire state.
Let’s not put this off any longer. The rankings are here! 177 ranked student athletes from Milwaukee to Superior and from La Crosse to Green Bay.
