Big plays, whether they be touchdowns, big runs, head top grabs or a pick six, these standouts get the job done. Here are several prospects who fit that mold and they have seen their stock rise this spring.
Chace is an elite defender with a long, lean frame with an extended reach who gets hands on his opponents to disrupt their routes. He is a sticky defender, plays press coverage well and he has the skill set to shut down passing lanes making it difficult to throw in his zone. Chace transitions into his backpedal smoothly, he has the ability to run, cut, stop and flips his hips staying in phase in close coverage. He is a sure tackler, who plays with great leverage and he brings a thump with him. Purdue has come to the table with an offer and he has taken visits to UCF and Houston. Chace has been a terror on the 7v7 circuits this spring and his stock will continue to rise on the recruiting trail heading into the fall season.

Martin is a do it all running back who can pound a defense in the run game or be just as deadly in the passing game out of the backfield. When Amante gets the rock, he gets north and south quickly, he run with excellent pad level and he won’t be brought down with an arm tackle. He has a stout, powerful build combined with a strong lower half, that he uses to roll over defenders in the hole. He has burst and explosion at the second level to make a house call for six. He has been an offensive threat on the 7v7 circuits this spring, displaying excellent route running and reliable hands. Martin has garnered plenty of interest in the recruiting trail, with offers from Houston, Oklahoma State, Missouri and UCF all coming to the table with scholarships. He is one the top rushers in the class of 2026 and you can expect that offer sheet to get longer heading into his junior season.

Clay has the big time playmaking ability that college programs seek out in top flight receivers. Jordan is a big body target at 6’4, who is a superb route runner and his ability to change directions quickly allow him to get open frequently. He has large, strong hands that swallow the football in flight and he uses his extended arm length to make contested grabs in tight coverage. He burst onto the scene his freshman season at Madison, earning 1st Team All-District honors and stepped up again in 2023 and was again voted 1st team. Clay has the versatility to line up as an inline tight end or split out wide and he is a handful no matter where he takes snaps offensively. Jordan has been one of the hottest prospects in the 2026 class in the month of March, picking up offers from Notre Dame, SMU and Tennessee.

Cloud is an explosive player, who runs sharps routes, he is quick in space and his ability to get open easily makes him a reliable target. He has a long, rangy frame with a large catch radius that enables him to make difficult grabs in traffic. Preston can switch gears quickly, when he gets in the open field, he explodes and he has the speed to make a house call for six from any down and distance. He has the skill set that college coaches covet at the next level and Arizona State sent out his first offer early last spring, but expect more to come his way. Cloud is a rising junior to be that should be on the radar heading into the fall season.
