The annual C4 Red River Shootout took place in Durant on Saturday morning and afternoon. The Durant-based tournament has been one of the best one-day tourneys over the last few years and it lived up to the hype again. Prep Redzone Oklahoma was on site from start to finish and we got a chance to see some great football from Oklahoma and some of the surrounding states. In this breakdown, we take a look at some of the standouts from the 13U division. These five prospects are all in the 2029 class and showed flashes of promise moving forward.
Isaac Spiwak – 2029 WR/DB – Sooner 7
Isaac Spiwak is the first of two standouts from Sooner 7 on Saturday morning. Spiwak is from Carl Albert and is the younger brother of Carl Albert’s standout kicker Ethan Spiwak Ethan Spiwak 6'4" | 160 lbs | K Carl Albert | 2025 State OK . Isaac had a really strong day on offense and defense. Spiwak has good size and moves around well. On offense, he was a big target in the passing game at wide receiver. On defense, Spiwak turned around and played safety at a high level and did a really good job with his closing speed and made some plays on the ball. He’ll be a name to look out for.
Jashaud Sims – 2029 WR/DB – C4
The only Texas prospect on this breakdown comes from Sherman as Jashaud Sims suited up for C4’s 13U squad. Sims really stood out on both sides of the ball in the early games of the tournament. Sims is a good looking athlete that is already long and is more filled out than some of the other prospects that were his height. Needless to say, Sims looked the part physically and he played like one of the better looking athletes. Sims made some tough catches in traffic and also turned around and had a good day on defense.
Joseph Williams – WR/DB – 918 Elite
918 Elite would end up taking home the 13U championship on Saturday and it was because of players like Joseph Williams from Broken Arrow. In the very first game of the day, Williams had a really strong performance on both sides of the ball. Physically, he just looks the part already and that was a match-up nightmare for opponents. His size allowed him to go up and get the ball in jump ball situations. He made some outstanding plays on defense as well but honestly, his greatest impact while we were watching came on offense.
Kruz Delgado Kruz Delgado 5'8" | 145 lbs | ATH OK – WR/DB – Sooner 7
We didn’t see every single 13U game on Saturday but it’s hard to argue anyone was more productive than Kruz Delgado Kruz Delgado 5'8" | 145 lbs | ATH OK from Sooner 7 from an offensive and defensive perspective. On offense, Delgado made some of the best catches of the weekend. He would also make some pretty impressive catches on defense as he came down with a handful of interceptions. Like Spiwak, Delgado is the younger brother of a current HS standout. Older brother Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Union | 2027 State OK is one of the better 2027 prospects and it looks like Kruz is on that track.
Mikey Valenzuela – DB – 918 Elite
Similar to Williams, in the very first game, 918 Elite’s Mikey Valenzuela set the tone for how it was going to be defensively for his squad. Valenzuela had several interceptions in the first game of the day and he only continued his strong defensive play from there. Similar to some of the other standouts on this breakdown, Valenzuela had a good day on offense as well but when we look at the greatest impact, it was definitely on the defensive side of the ball. The defensive back standout from Sand Springs had a great start.
