Ertel is already a 2-year starter for Mount Vernon, and what a good 2 year run it's been. They've got 2 more years of him under center and he gives them a lot of hope. He's a lefty who can get as hot as anyone and light up the field. He's smart and doesn't overthink on the field. His mechanics seem to be improving quite a bit from year to year. His jump from year 1 to year 2 was also promising. A bigger-framed QB who can make all the throws and some plays with his legs is always a hot target. Through 2 years of High School ball, Ertel has thrown for 2800 yards, 26 TDs on 58% completion, and added 170 yards and 3 TDs with his legs.

[player_tooltip player_id='560093' first='Elijah' last='Edon'] - Eastern Hancock - QB - 6'0" 180lbs

Edon silently had an amazing year and could be one of the better QBs in the class when it's all said and done. He processes the game quickly and makes good decisions every week. He was their leader right away and hasn't looked back. He'll extend plays and do damage with his legs as well as slice and dice with his arm. Helping lead his guys to a Conference Championship, Edon put up 2077 passing yards and 17 TDs on 62% completion and then added 687 yards and 11 TDs on the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='873772' first='Chris' last='Hill'] - Bishop Chatard - QB - 5'11" 165lbs - 2026

Hill is a young QB who has a ton of athletic ability. He's someone who can develop into a true dual-threat QB. He's quick in the pocket and has a good sense of when to step up and take off. With a soft over-the-top delivery and a frame that is growing, Hill could be a guy who takes a big jump as soon as he steps on the field. Everything to this point has been nice in development, but once he hits Friday nights that's where the real test will begin.

[player_tooltip player_id='863814' first='Colton' last='Bath'] - Northview - QB - 6'1" 180lbs

Bath is your prototypical Quarterback who is best when he can sit in the pocket and survey the field. He's got a nice arm and can drop it over the top of defenders as well as throw guys open with some anticipation. He's got a nice big frame that's only going to get thicker and more promising. With some Varsity work as a sophomore, it was nice to see him on the field some, but he'll get his first real opportunity this fall and I'm curious to see how he performs.

[player_tooltip player_id='824540' first='Jaydin' last='Rivers'] - Bishop Noll - QB - 6'2" 205lbs

The lefty who transferred over from Illinois last year just had a good season and should be primed for more this fall. He's one of the hardest-working recruits and is always posting videos and clips of training and working out. It's begun to pay off as he's worked his way into Varsity. He's got a big frame, he's thick and can extend plays with his legs. 1000 passing yards on 54% completion with 7 TDs and 200 rushing yards and 4 TDs on the ground is where he ended up as a sophomore, but he'll be unleashed as a junior.
