Transfers weight on throws.&nbsp; Puts the ball in the air for his star wideouts to do their thing. Solid scrambler.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1292254' first='Cody' last='Hogan'] (Plainfield South – 6'1” 190)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Came away impressed with Hogan's tape.&nbsp; It starts out throwing a 40 yard TD bomb while getting absolutely hammered. Very good deep ball consistently dropping it in the bucket. Great pocket presence.&nbsp; Standing in there strong when his protection holds.&nbsp; Extends plays when he has to with his legs looking to make throws rather than run himself.&nbsp; Throws an easy ball to catch. Moves looking to throw. Extends plays. Easy ball to catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='830856' first='Jacob' last='Ritter'] (Lincoln Way East – 6'0” 165)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Very short video of only 48 seconds from junior year so a bit hard to evaluate, but here is what we saw.&nbsp; Quick release consistently getting the ball out of hand to playmakers. Solid runner that isn't afraid to run with his wiry frame.&nbsp; With 2026 superstar [player_tooltip player_id='800191' first='Jonas' last='Williams'] moving in it will be interesting to see if he stays or transfers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='331523' first='Joey' last='Baranski'] (Marian Catholic – 5'10” 160)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 5'10" QB is a much better runner than passer.&nbsp; Showed some arm strength on short routes especially slants.&nbsp; Much more of a runner following his blocks well on designed runs.&nbsp; Might need to switch positions at the next level. Follows blocks as designed runner.&nbsp; Slant route. Zip on short routes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='331591' first='Gary' last='Bradley'] (Hillcrest – 5'7” 150)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bradley is a smaller quarterback at only 5'7" 150 pounds.&nbsp; Good athlete that is quick with the ball and creative as both a runner and passer.&nbsp; Can make plays off schedule and has solid arm strength.&nbsp; Accurate on deep ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='299411' first='Chase' last='Hetfleisch'] (Lincoln Way West – 5'10: 160)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ball comes off the hand of this LWW QB clean. Quick release and smooth mechanics. Makes quick decisions with where the ball is going.&nbsp; Can throw on the move while still being accurate especially on shorter throws. Solid runner as scrambler and in RPO game. Can tuck it to get a first down.&nbsp; Makes simple plays consistently well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='331568' first='Caron' last='Johnson'] (Romeoville – 5'10” 180)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is a more intriguing runner than passer based on tape.&nbsp; He is a solid high school QB that has a decent arm and some upside as a signal caller.&nbsp; A position change to RB might be in his best interest.&nbsp; Loved what we saw on tape as an explosive and powerful runner that once he got it rolling seemed to get faster down the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='353080' first='Langston' last='Love'] (Hinsdale South – 5'9” 170)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Love had 1,222 yards as a junior with a 17/2 TD to INT ratio in only 5 1/2 games played.&nbsp; Love is a rock solid QB with some developmental upside.&nbsp; Ball explodes off his hand with an easy release. Velocity translates downfield hitting guys on their seam routes. Quick decision maker and Smooth runner. Most of his throws are in the pocket, but definitely is a good athlete.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='331592' first='Luke' last='Mensik'] (Lincoln Way Central – 6'1” 175)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This eval is based on his sophomore tape where he threw for 1,582 yards and 22 TDs while completing 67% of his passes. Long limbed kid with a bit of a lengthy release because of that. Like the size and throws well on the move going to both his right and left. Solid athlete that manipulates well in the RPO and makes plays in a variety of ways out of it. Touch on deep throws.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1292699' first='Drew' last='Wilvia'] (Andrew – 5'10” 175)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smaller QB with a compact build. Quick release and throws well on the move. Andrew runs a lot of plays out of the wishbone where he is good at using his running and fakes to various backs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
