2024 Signing Class Overview: Colgate Raiders

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colgate, one of the many high academic FCS schools in the northeast is not only a home state school but one that has continuously taken talent from all around New York State. Colgate is a consistent threat in the Patriot League last wining the league outright in 2018 and have multiple competitive and top three finishes since. Winning 6 of their last 7 games in 2023 Colgate continued their momentum into signing day in December when it inked four players who played their HS ball in New York and a 5th who after a strong career in New York did a post-graduate year in Connecticut. DeSantis plays with good hands and is consistent in his ability to shed, but what you like most on tape is how he finishes plays with violent physical tackling. Floss can play from the slot or outside and has good hands consistently catching away from his body. While I had a FCS grade on Murphy coming out of High School Murphy decided to do a Post-Grad year to help his recruiting and it paid off as he showed the dominant strength and power for St. Thomas More against a plethora of tough opponents.
