Prep Redzone has the details…
Deion Thomas – WR – Westlake
A playmaking Atlanta-area receiver to know about in the 2026 class, Thomas is a big-bodied pass-catcher who is starting to see his recruitment really take off. Over the last several days, the Westlake (GA) has earned new offers from Temple UCONN, Tennessee, Liberty, Memphis, Georgia State, among others. The 6-foot-3 195-pounder shows big-play speed down the field who can out-run defenders to the end-zone. An above-average route-runner who can get open down the field, this Westlake wideout is always a threat in the red-zone with his size and ball skills which allows him to leap up and catch the ball at it’s highest point over smaller defenders. He brings a promising frame and will be even better if he continues to add more muscle over the next few months. As he continues to develop his craft and improve his route-running, Thomas could see more offers come his way this spring and summer.
Zayden “Zeus” Walters – Brookwood
One of the hottest 2026 OL prospects in Gwinnett County right now, Walters is a massive left tackle prospect at 6-foot-4 320-pounds who bullied defenders all season long last fall. He’s a punishing linemen who latches onto defenders and drives them backwards. A pancake machine against the run, Walters opened up running lanes while showing his potential as a pass-protector. He shows good lower body strength and does a good job of playing with balance and control. He’s physical, moves well for his size, and shows a lot of potential is he can keep improving and developing his craft over the next two years. College coaches have seen enough, and the offers are rolling in. This up and coming lineman has had a giant few days on the recruiting trail after adding new offers from South Florida, Central Florida, Georgia State, Pittsburgh, App State, West Virginia, among others.
Brodie McWhorter Brodie McWhorter 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Cass | 2026 State GA – QB – Cass
One of the top 2026 QBs not only in North Georgia, but across the state, McWhorter is a 6-foot-2 195-pounder who knows how to drive the ball accurately down the field. The young Cass signal-caller coming off a strong sophomore season for the Colonels where he showed great pocket presence and natural arm talent. His recruitment is on the rise and he recently earned an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs. He already had an impressive offer list, but that was a big one. Already a multi-year starter at quarterback for Cass, McWhorter is physically gifted with a talented arm. He’s getting better and better, and is likely bound for a giant junior season next fall in 20234. He’s one of the best quarterback prospects in Georgia for the 2026 class, and more big offers are likely to come his way.
