The Magnolia State produces some of the best players out of high school. The US Army Bowl Combine knows that. That is why they held their last combine in Jackson, MS.
Ervin Smith
Smith is one of the top performers from the camp this past weekend. This young man is a dog that knows how to stalemate his opponents when they come off of the line. Smith is a player that coaches think is going to be a center on the next level. He won MVP for the offensive linemen at the camp. Smith is a guy that has been receiving some division one attention lately. I think that he is going to just fine in the recruiting department.
Gunnar Goodwin Gunnar Goodwin 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Kossuth | 2026 State MS
Goodwin has been super impressive since his freshman days. I think that this is going to be a good time for him to go ahead and see his stock rise. This young man is one of the best offensive linemen in the 2026 class in the state of Mississippi. He is expected to be an interior offensive lineman on the next level. Goodwin is going to be just fine in the recruiting department. Yes, that will sound cliche in this article. These are some guys that are under the radar and need some exposure.
Wiggins came on and put on a great show. He is going to be a division one player for sure. He is one of those guys who has been showing up big for years. This young man is another guy that is expected to play on the interior offensive line. He is a guy that definitely has a chance to play on the division one level. Wiggins needs to work on being a little quicker. That is what college coaches want to see from him.
Aydan Newell
Newell showed up and showed that he is a 2026 player to be reckoned with. Newell is a 6-foot-4 guy that can play guard or tackle. Right now, he is expected to play tackle on the next level. That is going to be a good fit for him. He holds several power five offers.
Nash is going to be a beast when he hits the college level. This young man is a player that I think is going to be an interior lineman on the next level. He could also possibly be a center. Nash is going to be the guy that has a lot of options on where he wants to go to school. His stock is continuing to rise through the roof.
