Nash is a strong, yet athletic OL prospect with impressive movement skills. He plays with plenty of range, allowing him to convoy ball carriers down the sideline. He is an effective puller thanks to his speed, and his length allows him to deliver strong punches. He has a vice grip on defenders and delivers devastating punches to defenders. He completely outmatches smaller defenders and ragdolls them to the floor. He has excellent vision in his peripherals, pinpointing penetrating blockers from the interior and emerging tacklers on explosive plays. Nash has plenty of desirable physical traits that the staff at Florida State can harness.
Nash is 6’5″ tall and 285 lbs. Nash is an absolute beast on the line of scrimmage. When you hear that someone passes the eye test you should think of Mario Nash JR. His technique is almost text book. He is able to seal the edge to almost perfection and he plays up until the final whistle. With his work ethic he is going to have the opportunity to play for a long time.
Hauling from Mississippi, Nash was the biggest prospect at the camp and flashed some promise as the event went on. At 6’5 270, he certainly passes the eye test and has a high ceiling as a prospect. After watching Nash up close, it was clear that he improved with each rep. He plays with violence and has a strong punch with his long arms. Once he gets you tied up, it will be hard to escape from him. Nash has the size, power, and violence that you want in your offensive linemen. As he develops fundamentally, you could see his name start climbing up recruiting boards in the next few years.
