Steals of Signing Day

Matthews had numerous FBS offer which included P5 offers from Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Arizona, Cal, Colorado, Washington State, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Kansas, Duke and other offers from Colorado State and Northern Arizona. Rowe showcased P5 ability for the past few years in his career as he shows excellent body control, mobility, and quickness as a pass rusher but can also serve as a quality run filler given his play strength. He had around 15 total offers, most of which were major Division 1 schools, but he chooses Fordham and will look to get on the field early and be that difference maker. Love this signing by Fordham as they truly got an elite talent. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='115525' first='Isaiah' last='Savoie'], <em>RB, Red Mountain</em><strong> (Western New Mexico)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Savoie is an explosive, big play Back that checks all the boxes at the RB position. Western New Mexico landed a legit FCS level talent and I think everyone in Silver City should be hyped about this one. Savoie transferred over to red Mountain for his senior season after spending 3 years at Apache Junction, where he was clearly one of the most dominant players in 4A. He rushed for over 1,000 yards and 10 TD's his senior year at red Mountain and will look to bring that explosive ability out to WNMU. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='169421' first='Deacon' last='Shea'], <em>LB, Notre Dame Prep</em> <strong>(Black Hills State)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Black Hills State landed one of the best 2024 defensive players in the state in my opinion. Talent wise, I think Shea is another kid that is a true FCS level player but I think teams may have shied away due to his height at 5'11". In my opinion, Shea's ability to make plays sideline to sideline with his range and natural ability to diagnose and react to plays early completely overrides that size aspect. He possesses both mobility and straight line speed to meet opponents in the alley or track opponents down along the edges, and shows excellent strength at the POC. Aidoo's situation is similar to Matthews, as he held 13 total offers with a number of them coming from FBS programs. He's a 6'2" 175lb FS with a massive ceiling and a ton of promise looking forward. Excellent instincts with the ability to fill run or play that centerfield position with his range in the back half and be a ballhawk. Athletic enough to roll down and man up on slots and TE's and really serve as your complete FS with all of his intangibles he possesses. I think Aidoo is a special player that is about to explode at the FCS level, and is a clear steal by Weber State. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
