<p>This past Wednesday was the late signing day for the class of 2024 put a wrap on recruiting for the majority of the 2024 senior football players in the state. Here is a recap of some of the top late signees with the in-state schools. </p>

<p><strong>SEMO</strong><br>- [player_tooltip player_id='322070' first='Brandon' last='Mason'] (6'6) 240) DE Hazelwood Central <br>Explosive athlete with good size who has a lot of upside and is still learning the position after switching from OT his senior year. Mason has good length, long arms, a quick first step and great motor. He really worked hard to make the transition from OL and it has paid off. His best football is ahead of his still with a lot of upside. </p>

<p>- [player_tooltip player_id='1112502' first='Jamarion' last='Smith'] (5'11" 175) RB Portageville <br>Put up massive numbers rushing as a junior and senior. Won Southeast Missouri player of the year award. The top athlete in the Bootheel, Smith was also a very good safety and special teams players. He has good feet, vision and is a workhorse type back. </p>

<p>-Adrian Fox (6'3" 190) QB Jackson<br>One of the top quarterback prospects in the state as a senior. Was a true dual threat showcasing his speed and running ability to go with his strong arm and passing skills. Fox is a legit D1 QB prospect who has the chance to really breakout on the college level with all the tools he possesses.</p>

<p><strong>Missouri Southern</strong><br>- [player_tooltip player_id='130193' first='Jordyn' last='Robinson'] (6'1" 180) WR/DB Raytown<br>One of the top athletes overall in the class of 2024. Robinson has great speed and could play on either side of the ball for the Lions.</p>

<p>- Kaylen Mitchell (6'3" 250 ) DL Parkway North<br>One of the top defensive players in the St. Louis area the past three years. Played LB in high school, but his size and skill set are better suited for defensive line in college. A player to watch who could really develop into a special player at DL.</p>

<p>- Dennis Abel (6'1" 175) Riverview Gardens<br>One of the top sleepers in the class. Abel showed remarkable receiving skills. He has good speed, put up really good numbers and was a bit of a hidden gem,</p>

<p><strong>Truman State</strong><br>-[player_tooltip player_id='1112355' first='Kendal' last='Hammond'] (6'2" 200) RB/LB South Shelby<br>Good size, speed, strength, explosiveness and skills at both running back and linebacker. Also good in the weight room. Smart player who could play offense or defense for the Bulldogs. </p>

<p>-[player_tooltip player_id='126255' first='Elijah' last='Stevens'] (5'10" 200) RB Summit<br>One of the top running backs in the St. Louis area in 2024 rushing for over 1,900 yards and 21 touchdowns wile averaging 9 yards per carry. Good speed and runs hard. Workhorse type back who can also catch the ball.</p>

<p>-[player_tooltip player_id='125256' first='Landon' last='Boston'] (5'10" 185) Washington<br>Another top athlete who was also a talented running back, but will play defensive back at Truman State. Really took to playing DB with Boom football 7v7 and with his Blue Jays. Good speed and cover skills. </p>

<p><strong>Central Missouri </strong><br>- [player_tooltip player_id='392792' first='Karson' last='Webster'] (6'8" 320) Francis Howell Central<br>Webster has tremendous size, is a good athlete and can really move. He's a bit of a late bloomer who's best football is ahead of him. A powerful run blocker with long arms and good pass pro. A player whose development is one to watch. </p>

<p>-Aidan Ryan (6'0" 190) Rockhurst<br>A very talented all-purpose back who can do it all. Tough runner with good speed, blocks well, pass protect and really excels at catching the ball out of the backfield. </p>
