Despite being on our radar already, Ren was somehow missed on the October update, but we made sure not to let that happen this time. Ren’s efforts in the trenches helped pave the way for the Mustangs to make a run at the D1 State championship. Brown looked exceptional as a blocker on one of the top rushing attacks in 8-man football. Ren is very physical at the point of attack and can use his full 6’6″ 280-pound frame to overpower defenders. He’s very smart with his hand placement, making winning inside leverage look second nature. His mobility and lateral burst were very impressive to see, as he could work his way to the second level to clear out defenders. Ren’s quickness and burst also flashed on the defensive side of the ball with how fast he could fire off the ball. Ren picked up early offers from Peru State and Wayne State while also receiving attention from several Division 1 programs.

Flying somewhat under the radar due to playing on a loaded Bellevue West team, Jules quietly had a great junior year. Dudoit was one of the scarier EDGE rushers in the class after finishing his season with 5.5 sacks. Duduoit also recorded 57 tackles, 16.5 TFLs, and blocked a kick. My biggest takeaway from watching Jules’ tape was his versatility as a pass rusher. Dudoit is extremely quick at getting off the ball and flashed a ton of twitch to fly past slow offensive tackles. He can also quickly convert his speed to power and uses his incredible strength to explode with his hands and hips. High-intensity, high-motor player who was in go-mode from start to finish. Very impressive player who will likely gain more attention this offseason!

We got another state champion here! Junior Cohen Rohde Cohen Rohde 6’4″ | 230 lbs | ATH Sumner-Eddyville-Miller | 2025 State NE emerged as a promising two-way player to watch in the 2025 class. Cohen was a handful for opposing offenses to handle, resulting in 62 tackles, 25 TFLs, 3 sacks, and hauled in an interception. Rohde did very well at the Prep Redzone Stock Up showcase, putting together some great 1v1 reps. Rohde can use his size and power to dictate play at the line of scrimmage. He’s a very “heads-up” player who tracks the ball very well and will do the small things like getting his hands up to bat away passes. Cohen was also a great option in the passing game, hauling in 22 catches for 305 yards and four receiving touchdowns. He’s sneaky good at finding open spots in those 6-man defenses and is great after the catch, with the ability to absorb contact and keep trucking on. Don’t sleep on this 6-man stud!
