Here are some players who have been catching my eye and showing improvement before next season.
Paki Crawford Paki Crawford 6'1" | 225 lbs | DL Roosevelt | 2025 State WA – DL – O’Dea HS – 2025
Paki is so quick off the line, it’s insanely impressive. He jumps off the line in a split second and has the speed of a linebacker. He stands at 6’1” and weighs roughly 230 pounds but is as strong as anyone he matches up against as well. He had over 20 sacks last year, which is an absurd number. With how he’s looking, he could have even more his senior season.
Julius Hernandez – OLB – Life Christian Academy – 2027
Here’s a player that people need to know of. He has such a dominating season last year for Life Christian Academy and he is just a freshman. He is going to be improving each and every year, likely even each week. He had an insane 16.5 sacks last season and over 75 tackles to add to it. He’s strong and only getting stronger, he was named first team all conference last season and is looking for another during his sophomore campaign next year.
Kolton Matson Kolton Matson 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Lake Stevens | 2025 State WA – QB – Lake Stevens – 2025
Kolton carried his team all the way to the state championship game, winning the 4A state title and joining prestigious company within the program. He’s a top QB in the state, could even be the best QB in the 2025 class. He’s going to have such a huge season next year. He’s looking calm in the pocket and is throwing darts with FSP so far during the 7v7 season. Matson is starting to get the Division 1 looks he deserves.
Khris Norris – WR – Graham-Kapowsin – 2025
Khris is an elite route runner who has some of the best footwork I’ve seen by a wide receiver in his class. He has phenomenal speed and hands, rarely dropping the ball when it comes his way. He had roughly 460 yards on an insanely stacked team but I can easily see Norris doubling his production next season as a senior. He’s been having a great spring with FSP, so far.
Demetri Manning Demetri Manning 6'7" | 340 lbs | OL Bellevue | 2025 State WA – OL – Bellevue – 2025
Demetri is just a massive, massive guy. He’s 6’7” & 340 pounds but doesn’t move like it at all. He’s very agile and athletic for his size, which is what makes him standout. His footwork is steady and solid, but his strength stands out. He’s insanely strong and not many, if any, players can matchup evenly with Manning. I’m excited to see his senior season next year.
