Trey Berry Trey Berry 6’0″ | RB Sidney Lanier | 2025 State AL is a really talented running back for Sidney Lanier that made a huge impact on their rushing attack last fall. Berry offers a ton in their offense with how well he is able to carry the ball. He has an excellent ability to make huge plays on the ground, is great at shedding tackles, can make defenders miss, and has the speed and acceleration to separate from them entirely. Berry also shows a ton of promise as an option in their passing game too- he has a good set of hands and us able to gain a lot of yards after the catch. Overall, once Trey Berry Trey Berry 6’0″ | RB Sidney Lanier | 2025 State AL gets the ball in his hands he’s hard to stop. It showed last fall where he ended up carrying the ball 134 times for 1252 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground with an additional 8 receptions for 112 yards in the air as well. Berry has also made a name for himself in the recruiting world, he just recently picked up an offer from UAB. Keep an eye on him this year, he’s sure to have a huge season and will definitely pick up some more attention from the next level!
Wilson Hodges Wilson Hodges 6’4″ | 220 lbs | TE Montgomery Catholic | 2025 State AL is an excellent tight end at Montgomery Catholic that has made a massive impact on their offense in a lot of ways. Hodges is an excellent blocker. He frequently paves the way in the run game as a lead blocker and is a large reason of why those plays are able to go the distance. In addition to his work in the ground game, Hodges also shows a lot of promise as a receiving option. He’s a big guy with a great catch radius that has shown the ability to make some nice catches in clutch situations. Last fall, Hodges was able to put up 15 receptions for 219 yards on the season, as he continues to develop those numbers are just going to grow more and more. Recently, Hodges has also been able to pick up some offers from Old Dominion, Louisiana Tech, Appalachian State and lots of others! Keep an eye on him as he heads into his senior year this fall, he’s going to have himself a great season.
Bryson Kimbrough Bryson Kimbrough 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Hillcrest | 2025 State AL is a really talented passer out of Hillcrest that really impressed me when watching his film. Kimbrough has a really precis arm that’s capable of making a lot of tough throws both inside and outside the pocket. He has a strong enough arm to stretch the field and can lead his receivers really well no matter what part of the field they are at. Kimbrough also has some really solid athleticism that allows him to maneuver around the field on his feet well and helps him absorb hits when passing. Kimbrough just picked up an offer from Coahoma Community College, with the kind of talent he has he will definitely be seeing some more head his way. Keep an eye on him this season- he’s set up for a big year in their offense.
