Simon was the leading senior target for a productive Legacy WR group with 18 catches for 425 yards and 4 TDs last season. He’s a long, stridey perimeter receiver that flashes athleticism and tracking ability in the vertical passing game. He’s a bit stiff as a runner and could unlock more top-speed downfield by being more disciplined with his eyes- not looking back for the ball early. He does well attacking the soft spots over the middle of the field against zone coverage but needs to work on being more proactive and intentional in creating space as a route-runner at the next level. Simon, who just picked up his first NAIA offer from Mayville St. in February, offers upside in his physical tools and can be an impactful skill guy at the next level with continued coaching and development.
Highlights
Tabangcura was one of the top two-way players in Nevada 3A last season with a team-leading 48 catches for 750+ yards and 7 TDs on offense and 7 INTs on defense. He’s a skilled, instinctive deep safety that consistently puts himself in position to make plays in deep zone and uses his WR-quality ball skills to capitalize on turnover opportunities. He’s a versatile offensive weapon that shows obvious athleticism and natural talent with the ball in his hands. Tabangcura’s a severely underrated 2024 prospect with serious upside on either side of the ball at the next level. He’s picked up offers from Lincoln, Waldorf, St. George Prep, and Valley College in recent weeks.
Richardson showed great upside as an off-ball LB leading the team in tackles (71) and INTs (5) as a junior. He excels in zone coverage where he can read/react to QB eyes and utilize his short-range burst, change-of-direction, and lateral movement to undercut passing lanes. When he’s not in coverage, he’s constantly driving downhill to meet ball-carriers in the hole with force and creating pressure as a blitzer from multiple alignments. Richardson’s an underrated, multi-tool LB that should continue to raise his stock as a senior.
Amere Swan
Amere Swan
Swan led the Canyon Springs backfield in rushing with 56 carries for 435 yards and 5 TDs as a junior. He’s a narrow, fluid runner at 5’11”/160 with the slippery agility and elusiveness to make defenders miss. He shows vision finding lanes at the LOS, explosive burst through the hole, and the open-field speed to separate at the second/third levels. He drives his legs hard through contact but should continue to add strength/power to his frame. Swan should see ample opportunities to continue raising his stock as one of the top returning playmakers for CS next season.

David led Basic’s defense in tackling with 77 total and 3 INTs as a junior last season. He’s a rangy, fluid OLB that uses his athleticism to shed/avoid oncoming blocks and is quick to trigger downhill to the football. He displays the type of relentless motor and violent edge that coaches look for in LBs at the next level. Look for David to continue to put his name on the Nevada 2025 LB radar with another productive season for Basic.
