Bloomfield showed promising physicality as the starting C for Reed as a sophomore. He’s a mauler in the run game that’s at his best in close-range where he can use his brute strength to move and control defenders. He’s quick to snap-and-engage DTs and delivers a strong, leveraged punch out of his stance with sustained leg drive through the whistle. Bloomfield’s one of the top returning centers in northern Nevada heading into next season.
Gonzalez was a standout performer from his OT position as a sophomore for Spanish Springs. He’s an athletic mover at 6’3”/225 that’s light and quick on his feet and closes the distance with natural burst and twitch. He gets downhill in a hurry when operating out in space and possesses the agility and lateral range to react to defender movement. He showed improvement over the season in his hand usage but could benefit from continued refinement in his placement and being more controlled and compact with his initial punch. Gonzalez offers OT upside in his natural athletic tools- look for continued growth and development in his junior season.
Kole Cronin
Kole Cronin
Cronin showed potential in his natural length and frame for his OT position as sophomore at 6’5”/225. He generates strength and resistance from the ground-up, working off a solid base and controlled, active feet. He shows good bend and mobility as an athlete handling DEs in pass protection out on the edge. Cronin needs to continue to bulk and add mass to his slender OL frame but should be firmly on the 2026 radar for northern Nevada OL. Highlights vs. Reed
Leonardo Ullyut
Leonardo Ullyut
Ullyut’s a raw OL prospect that was a standout primarily from his OT spot as a junior for McQueen. He holds a strong, bulky frame at 6’1”/245 and showed ability to get out in space and move as a puller when kicked inside to OG. Ullyut needs to continue cleaning up his technique and angles of attack in the run game but his overall physicality in the trenches offer something to look forward to in 2024.
Black’s a compact, powerful IOL for Damonte Ranch at 5’11”/240. He generates force with proper leverage and pad level out of his stance and possesses the strength to move DTs off the ball to open interior running lanes. He shows flashes in pass protection but needs to work on being more proactive with his initial punch and hands at the POA. Black’s one of the top returning OL for Damonte Ranch heading into next season.
