The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit began this weekend in The Woodlands for our Lone Star Showdown. Just north of Houston, we got a chance to see some great players and teams compete from Louisiana and Texas. Throughout the next several days, we're going to have a ton of coverage from the event, breaking down all the top players we saw. And we'd be mistaken if we didn't take time to congratulate our champions. Bootleggers North won the 18U division while CG3-CAT Takeover took home the 15U and 14U titles. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more content coming out of this weekend's tournament and Oklahoma, you're on the clock! We'll see you on March 2nd and 3rd!

In this post, we're taking a look at three quarterbacks that just appear to be the prototypical next level signal callers when it came to the position. All three were on our radar coming into the tournament and all three lived up to the hype. Keep it locked in for more 18U coverage as well as a look at some of the top standouts from the 14U division and 18U.

The thing that we noticed and really stood out when watching Temple play was how effortless it looks for him. He has a smooth throwing motion and the ball just jumps out of his hands and he rarely didn't have the right amount of touch. Temple also moved around a little bit and played other positions so it's clear that he has a ton of athleticism to go along with that effortless and smooth throwing motion. D1 programs are starting to take notice of Temple and we don't think that will slow down anytime soon. He has a lot of the tools that colleges are looking for.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1173747"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"We knew that Texas TAP was going to have a good tournament coming into weekend considering how much talent they had. They made it all the way to the 18U championship game before falling to Bootleggers North. 2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1173747' first='Rodrigo' last='Bravo Jr.'] was outstanding throughout the weekend. Bravo was incredibly accurate and he did an excellent job of not locking in on one or two guys. He spread the ball around and kept all of his teammates involved in the offense. He was also completely comfortable running and calling the offense as he marched his team down the field, possession after possession. There's a bright future at QB here.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["950570"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='950570' first='Romin' last='Seymour'] suited up for the Thoroughbred Sports squad and was easily one of the more impressive quarterbacks in attendance. First off, he looks the part physically and then you watch him throw and he might have had the strongest arm of any quarterback in the tournament field. Seymour could absolutely fire some darts around the field and he allowed his receivers to make plays and always seemed to put it in a good spot. He didn't make many mistakes and he looks like he can move around as well. It was easy to figure out why Seymour has already emerged as one of the better quarterback prospects in the Texas 2026 class.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":3,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65cd18ad393d4"} /-->
