Continue ReadingAt 6 foot 8 320 pounds Greer already possesses P4 college ready frame as a sophomore. His recruiting momentum picked up as he helped lead Hoban to a state basketball championship as a freshman. He displayed the athleticism and foot work needed to be elite offensive lineman. Sam saw his first varsity football action as a sophomore. The feet and athleticism that we saw on the basketball court transfers to the football field. Ounce he engages he does a good job of finishing his man. As Greer continues to get stronger his versatility in both the run and pass blocking games will support his power for offers.
Wharton Jr is a player who has had his recruitment take off the season garnering P4 offers from Pitt and Wisconsin. He has a slender and athletic build with the length and athleticism that college coaches covet. Terrell shows fluid hips and easy transition to turn and run. He’s twitchy and has an explosive break on the ball. When he breaks, he is going ball hunting and has the skill to take it away. With continued physical development he should continue to bolster his P4 offers.
Johnson made his impact felt as a sophomore for Glenville’s state championship defense. Johnson projects to either Outside Linebacker or EDGE at the college level. He possesses an impressive physique for a sophomore in high school. Cincere plays a downhill and violent brand of football. In the run game he reads and reacts quickly and runs through ball carriers. His combination of length, strength, and athleticism are why I project him as an EDGE player at the next level. He will be able to set the edge in the run game and get to the quarterback in the pass game he has one P4 offer at this time by Kentucky, I expect that list to grow this off season.
Highlights
Alston is a player who has been on our radar sense he started as a freshmen. As a freshman we listed him as an ATH, but after 2 seasons I see him projecting to the Running back position at the college level. Alston has the strength and physicality to run between the tackles. He is explosive out of his stance and hits the hole hard. In space he has speed to take it the distance. Shahn is a strong one cut-runner who doesn’t waste movement and gets up field in a hurry. I like his fit best in a zone run scheme at the college level. Shahn has a P4 offer from West Virginia he also has a group of MAC offers I expect his list of P4 offers to grow this next season.
Highlights
Cook is a speedy receiver from Archbishop Hoban high school. He is a vertical threat with great length. When you watch his film his speed pops. Although his speed is a great asset, he has the ability to run detailed short and intermediate routs and create separation. His versatility shows in his ability to be a weapon on bubble screens and reverses. Cook has an extensive list of offers from the likes of Miami, Michigan, and Tennessee. That list is likely to grow this summer.
