Continue ReadingEli is a tenacious lineman for Perkins. His 6’4 265 frame pops out on the film. He shows good bend in his stance with good initial quickness out of it. In the run game he shows good mobility, being able to get to the 2nd level and pull effectively while also showing good power at the POA. He is able to routinely drive defenders backwards and into the ground with really good finishing. In the pass game he shows his quick feet and good athleticism. Eli currently holds 1 D1 offer from Bowling Green and I expect more G5 teams to soon follow suit.
Really liked what I saw from Daniel’s tape. He is a powerful and athletic defensive tackle that also shows off quickness and explosiveness off the ball. He does a great job finishing tackles and getting guys on the ground whenever he is able to get a hold of them. He effortlessly sheds blocks with very good run awareness and eye discipline to stuff inside runs at the LOS. He shows great play strength with his ability to drive back guards and centers to disrupt inside runs before the LOS. Daniel has recently been gaining D1 interest and has just picked up his first 2 offers both from the MAC. I expect more offers to continue from G5 schools.
Highlights
Ryan is a long and physical safety. He shows off his skills in run support with good open field tackling while taking good angles to the ball carrier. In zone coverage, he has good ball skills and range covering both hashes well. He also shows he can effectively come out off the nickel on delayed blitzes. Ryan has just recently received his first D1 offer from Akron. He is definitely a player to keep your eye on next season to see him continue to improve his game.
Highlights
Antonio is a versatile DB that can play both outside corner and safety. He shows he can play outside in 1 on 1 man coverage with good closing speed and the ability to get his head around and play the ball in the air. He has a good transition from his back pedal to turning and running with the receiver and can change direction quickly. Antonio currently has 2 D1 offers both from MAC schools. With his skill set as a DB, I can see more G5 schools begin to take more interest.
Highlights
Kyle is a physical running back and linebacker for Granville. On both sides of the ball, he is the enforcer of contact. He is a very tough runner to bring down in the open field with his combination of quickness and elusiveness in addition to the strength he has to run over and through defenders. He can also split out as a receiver and effectively catch passes with good hands and route running ability. As a linebacker, he has great awareness and can change directions and come down to the LOS fast. Kyle has been gaining a lot of D1 G5 interest recently and has received 1 offer from Toledo. I am excited to continue to watch him develop and expect him to continue receiving more D1 interest.
