The new 2024 rankings were just released for the FINAL time. We saw it grow from 514 prospects to 540+ prospects ranked. Despite covering this Class for four straight years we are still coming across new athletes that stood out from the crowd and needed to be included in the rankings. The 8 athletes below specifically deserve more spotlight as they debut inside the Top 150 in the most talented recruiting Class I have seen out of Wisconsin. This is where we get to shine even more light on those players. Let’s turn on the tape and see what traits they have to offer the next level.
Cam is a special WR prospect in the Class of 2024. He enters the rankings as our highest debuting player way up at #23 overall and WR3. The Northwestern commit has excellent size at 6’3″ 200 lbs, and it fits his possession receiver style of play perfectly. Cam is strong and able to muscle DBs in the route, at the catch, and after it. He attacks the ball in the air aggressively and has strong hands to reel in catches through contact and in traffic. Russell also has the body control to be able to contort and adjust to the ball in midair. I’m excited to see how he develops at the next level.

Next we have a standout TE prospect who debuts way up at TE2 in the Class. Isaac has the prototypical frame at 6’5″ 225 lbs with plenty of room on his frame to continue to add strength. The big target has primarily spent his career lining up out wide. There he is able to create separation with his overpowering size. The big man is also surprisingly dangerous after the catch. We see Fall Creek get him the ball quickly and let him use his vision to finds blocks and then outrun defenders in the open field. The long striding receiving threat has no issue pulling away at the HS level, and I believe he has the athletic profile to continue to be a mismatch at the next level.
I have been following Jake all season long, and was vey excited to see that he had committed to Duluth. The Top 10 DB has excellent length for the position at 6’2″ and his athletic traits should translate quickly to the next level. In zone coverage the CB is able to cover ground quickly, and has the instincts that allow him to read and react fast, giving him almost a head start on the ball getting to the catch point. Bova also has the long speed to be able to turn and run in man coverage thanks to quick feet and long strides when he opens up. The senior will also bring hands that can create turnovers and flash good timing to at least break up passes. It was clear the standout senior was a Top 100 talent in this Class.
I had my eyes on the Boyceville athlete all season long, and finally got to watch him live during the Level 3 Playoffs. He was just as exciting in person as he was on tape. Caden has gamebreaking speed to easily get behind the defense on deep passes. He also has the quick twitch agility to be a nightmare to contain in the short passing game. That burst also makes him tough to stick on through routes. Wold is a playmaker who can change a game with just a couple touches. I’m excited to see his career develop at Sioux Falls.

The long, lean DB out of Milwaukee Marshall spent his senior year making plays on both sides of the ball. However, DB is where his natural traits really get to shine through. He has reliable short area agility to be able to play man on quick, shifty receivers. His burst/closing speed allow him to break up passes. He has the speed to be able to run with anyone he faced, and on offense repeatedly ran away from the field. Whitewater looks like they stole a goo done here.
Teams looking to add to their kicking units need to give Sean West Sean West 6’2″ | 185 lbs | K Homestead | 2024 State WI a look. He is a reliable kicker with a strong leg. 42/50 KOs resulted in touchbacks, he averaged just shy of 43 yards per punt, 1/3 of his punts were downed inside the 1o, and he made 7 field goals from 40 yards or further. On tape you see how well the ball explodes off his foot. It quickly gains height on field goal attempts, cutting down on the threat of blocks. The senior also is very consistent with his approach and technique. Don’t overlook the talented boot out of Homestead HS.

One of the top uncommitted players in the Class is WR Brock Massey Brock Massey 6’3″ | 190 lbs | WR Mauston | 2024 State WI out of Mauston. The 6’3″ 190 lbs is a highly productive receiver and leaves Mauston as the highest scoring player. Brock wins with power and body position. You see his basketball background come through as he continuously boxes out and puts himself in position to be able to go up and get the ball over the defenders. Brock has strong hands that allow him to catch and secure the ball away from his body, even through contact. The senior tracks the ball in the air and can adjust his route to be able to again be in the best position to reel it in. Brock is a talented prospect that more people need to get their eyes on. Check out his film below.

The final new addition inside the Top 150 is Kettle Moraine’s OL Landon Garcia Landon Garcia 6’4″ | 285 lbs | OL Kettle Moraine | 2024 State WI . The senior could be a big time steal for Whitewater based off the film. He has an excellent frame to develop and mature at 6’4″ 285 lbs. We see several examples of heavy hands and a strong initial punch to stand up DL. From that point Landon uses leverage to drive his opponent off the ball. Garcia also shows some range, getting up to the second level and hitting his target. His 2023 highlights show that he is experienced all across the interior from LG to RG too. I’m excited to see how he continues to develop over the next four years.
