Emmet Ward Emmet Ward 6'5" | 205 lbs | QB Windsor | 2025 State CAD (Windsor Secondary) – QB
Emmet Ward Emmet Ward 6'5" | 205 lbs | QB Windsor | 2025 State CAD is a flat out stud who is well known for being the best quarterback prospect to come out of the province in the last couple of years. Listed at 6’4″ 195lbs, Ward completed 59% of his passes for 1818 yards, 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a junior. Emmet has the arm strength to make every throw required of a future college quarterback. Ward also has the ability to layer throws at all three levels while also being able to change his arm angle to avoid oncoming defenders and get the ball out on time. He displays very good pocket footwork and movement in his drop backs that is rare for someone coming out of the province. He has the ability to scramble and run for yardage if he gets forced out of the pocket but he continues to keep his eyes down field when he leaves the pocket as opposed to just taking off and he has showed the ability to throw off platform as well. He could clean up his throwing motion as it is a little bit elongated but if he cleans that up there is no reason Emmet shouldn’t be be a NCAA FBS level quarterback.
Dominic Dumas (South Delta Secondary) – ATH
Dominic Dumas is a dynamic player who was the star player for his high school as a junior. Listed at 5’10” 155lbs, Dumas primarily played quarterback because of how much value he holds as an offensive weapon. Dumas runs the forty yard dash in 4.94s on top of having an excellent low center of gravity which allows him to shake defenders to create something out of nothing. He also very fluid hips which allows him to to turn and separate by defenders in a moments notice. I would also classify him as a play creator as he has the agility and speed to surprise defenders who think that he is running on one angle but is actually changing to another angle. His ability to make a sudden cut or to suddenly change direction allow him to be one of the best play creators in the province.
Ryder Quintana (Vancouver College) – RB
Ryder Quintana is a undersized homerun hitting running back who is going to have a breakout senior season. Quintana was apart of a running back group that featured one of the top running backs in the class of 2024 but that didn’t stop him from getting on the field as he finished the regular season with 338 yards on only 31 carriers including a 92 yard touchdown run. Quintana has explosive, breakaway speed with the ball in hands allowing him to be a threat every time he touches the ball. He also has great acceleration as he tends to be patient behind the line of scrimmage before hitting the hole and blowing by defenders. Quintana is also excellent at jump cutting multiple times to find the open holes on zone runs. Quintana should have a monster season season as the lead running back for Vancouver College which should put him firmly on the radar of recruiters.
Benny Hageleit Benny Hageleit 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR New Westminster | 2025 State CAD (New Westminster Secondary) – WR
Benny Hageleit Benny Hageleit 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR New Westminster | 2025 State CAD is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the class of 2025 heading into the the new season. Hageleit has good size for a receiver as he comes in at 5’10” 170lbs. He primarily lined up the X position where he would often have to use his ability to win at the catch point. Even though he often wins at the catch point he does show good speed to separate late in the route. Another standout trait Hageleit possess is the ability to beat press off the line thanks to his arsenal of releases which allows him to win the route off of the line. He does need to improve his ability to sink his hips and snap off routes as he is often slow on his breaks which allow defenders to recover. Hageleit is an excellent talent who can win a route in different ways especially on vertical routes. I expect him to be in contention for the the best offensive player in the province come the fall.
Aiden Perizzolo (Notre Dame Regional Secondary School) – OL
Aiden Perizzolo was the best junior offensive lineman this past season in the province. Perizzolo primarily played at center as he comes in at 5’10” 215lbs, which is good size for a center. Perizzolo is what I would describe as a mauler as he is an attack minded offensive lineman who has great strength which allows him to move defensive lineman to the second level. He is excellent in run blocking thanks to his ability to explode off the line and attack downhill. He is also very good in pass blocking as he possess a very compact pass set which allows him to be versatile enough to help his other guards if he is not blocking anyone head up. Perizzolo is an excellent center prospect for the class of 2025 as he has all of the tools to have an excellent senior season which will allow him to truly standout to recruiters.
