Just when I think I am nearing the finish line, another athlete from Kansas signs, and the line moves.

Prep Redzone Kansas continues to feature Kansas athletes who have signed with college football programs, but who are not among our currently 330 players ranked in the Class of 2024.

Here is the ninth report which features eleven offensive linemen and offensive backs who have chosen to play for football programs in Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183502' first='Tycen' last='Biering'], OL, 6'4”, 300, Eisenhower (Hutchinson)

Biering is a quick center who can captain an offensive line. He also has the quickness and strength to fill in at guard if needed. The Eisenhower Tiger product is committed to playing for the Hutchinson Blue Dragons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183907' first='Tyler' last='Bono'], RB, 5'9”, 190, Blue Valley West (Baker)

Bono is an athletic running back who runs hard and works hard in the weight room. He makes good cuts and could also transition to a slot back for the Baker Wildcats.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183904' first='Cooper' last='Carley'], QB, 5'11”, 200, Olathe West (MidAmerica Nazarene)

Carley is a dual-threat quarterback who scores with his legs and his throwing arm. The Olathe West Owl is staying close to home and has selected MidAmerica Nazarene as the program to continue his football career.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183905' first='Trystan' last='Duckworth'], RB, 5'9”, 190, Olathe Northwest (MidAmerica Nazarene)

Duckworth will be joining Carley on the Pioneer roster. The two offensive weapons from rival schools could very well join efforts to become a dangerous combination in the Pioneer's backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183909' first='Gracen' last='Fisher'], RB, 5'10”, 195, Trinity Academy (Ottawa)

Nick Davis' Ottawa Braves are getting a slick running back from Wichita. The Knights prospect can catch the ball out of the backfield and could also play defensive back based on Ottawa's future needs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183908' first='Otto' last='Huff'], RB, 5'9”, 170, Manhattan (St. Mary's)

The Spires are adding a physical running back option from Manhattan. Huff is pretty much a between-the-tackles runner and a great blocker. Saint Mary's struggled at times last year to get their ground game going, but this young man can pick up the tough yards to move the chains.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183990' first='Tony' last='Jacobsen'], RB, 5'10”, 190, Lawrence (Baker)

The Baker Wildcats have proven that can dominate recruiting from the schools in their area. Jacobsen is a solid runner who could have an early impact on the special team units in Baldwin.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183501' first='Wyatt' last='Kerstetter'], OL, 6'5”, 290, Augusta (Hutchinson)

Kerstetter is another center/guard prospect heading to Hutch. He plays with solid balance and can get inside on opposing linemen. He and Biering, former rivals, have already been giving each other love on social media and look forward to future competition at practice.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183906' first='Mason' last='Mellies'], OL, 6'4”, 275, Clay Center (Bethany)

Mellies is another outstanding offensive guard, however, this one has decided to take his game to Lindsborg. The Clay Center product has signed to play with Bethany Swedes a program under reconstruction under Head Coach Michael Grossner heading into his second season as the skipper of the Swedes ship.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183499' first='Jayden' last='Sutton'], OL, 6'3” 270, Winfield (Garden City)

Sutton is a big offensive tackle who was highly sought after. The Winfield product chose Garden City over his other finalists, hometown Southwestern, Morningside, McPherson, Hutchinson, and Independence.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183505' first='Derrick' last='Vargas'], LS, 5'10”, 245, Salina South (Garden City)

Vargas is a consistent long-snapper who could compete for playing time at center or guard for the Broncbusters.
