The 2025 campaign has officially concluded. State champions have been crowned, and postseason awards are being handed out. Which means it's a perfect time to move into Phase 1 of our offseason calendar. That being our end of season ranking updates.

I know I mentioned that the Class of ‘27 rankings would be posted last week. But with State and Thanksgiving taking place, I figured it'd be best to delay the update to the first week of December.

To kick off this update I wanted to give a progress report on the Top 10 prospects from the Class of ‘27. This report will be rather quick given that these players don't need much exposure. However, folks might be interested to see the shake-up that took place in this December update. See how these prospects performed this past fall, and check out the latest details on their recruitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='944909' first='Gus' last='Corsair'] - Hays, 6'3”, 290, OL

In this update there aren't any surprises at No. 1 and No. 2 overall. Corsair of Hays continued to hold down the top spot in the class after another impressive season. His junior campaign marked the third time in his varsity career that he received 1st Team All-Conference honors. The Four-Star prospect has been drawing interest from multiple SEC programs recently, and he's likely to pick up several more offers throughout this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='933826' first='Cooper' last='Ohnmacht'] - Great Bend, 6'1”, 180, ATH

Following closely behind Corsair at No. 2 overall is Ohnmacht of Great Bend. Ohnmacht's junior year was highly anticipated after his breakout sophomore campaign, and he delivered with a ridiculous season. He made plays on both sides of the ball as he nearly eclipsed 800 receiving yards, and recorded 57 total tackles with five interceptions. During the season he received P4 offers from Kansas, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113168' first='Brody' last='Pfannenstiel'] - Hoisington, 6'3”, 225, DL/ATH

Now at No. 3 overall is Pfannenstiel of Hoisington. He's firmly established himself as a Top 3 prospect in the junior class after a very strong season. Pfannenstiel was a big reason why Hoisington held opponents to around 11 points per game. He also added offers from Kansas State, Minnesota, and Michigan State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703633' first='Tyson' last='Ross'] - Andover, 6'5”, 290, OL

Ross was one of the highest ranked newcomers in the previous update, and this time around he joins this prestigious group of Top 5 players. He was phenomenal at right tackle this season for Andover. Several top notch programs are beginning to notice too. Over the past few months he's added offers from Top 25 ranked programs such as Michigan, Oklahoma, and Oregon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113283' first='Alijah' last='Shaw'] - Blue Valley North, 6'8”, 275, OL

Making his way back into the Top 5 is Shaw of BVN. The athletic offensive tackle is on the rise after adding multiple D-I offers since August. Shaw now holds offers from Iowa State, Florida Atlantic, Northwestern, and UMass. He's now gearing up for basketball season, which is a sport he's also receiving interest in.

[player_tooltip player_id='944902' first='Nolan' last='Hadley'] - Maize, 6'3”, 280, OL

The second half of the Top 10 begins with Hadley of Maize. His play along the Eagles' offensive line was very instrumental in the offensive success they had this season. Hadley assisted in paving the way for over 2,600 yards on the ground which helped Maize average around 51 points per game this season. He primarily lined up at left tackle during his junior campaign, but he possesses the athleticism to play each position along the offensive line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1125648' first='Maddox' last='McGinnis'] - Wichita Northwest, 6'4”, 310, OL

At No. 7 overall is McGinnis of WNW. The massive right guard dominated the trenches this past fall. McGinnis helped clear some major running lanes as the Grizzlies rushed for over 3,000 yards and nearly averaged 46 points per game. His recruitment has been heating up since the start of November. He took campus visits to Colorado State, Kansas, Tulsa, and UNLV.

[player_tooltip player_id='557340' first='Warrick' last='VanBlaricon'] - Salina Central, 6'3”, 285, OL

It's only a matter of time before the 8th ranked prospect in the class starts picking up offers. VanBlaricon of Salina Central is fresh off a 5A State Championship and he heads into what could be a huge offseason for him. He's yet another talented offensive line prospect that has D-I potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='856864' first='Pearce' last='George'] - Maize, 6'0”, 185, WR

Through yet another update George of Maize holds down the top ranking at wide receiver. Our staff was excited to see how George would perform primarily at WR this season. He showed flashes of his potential this past offseason, but it all came together for him during his junior campaign. George led Maize's high flying offense in every receiving category, as he hauled in 46 catches for 706 yards and eight scores. His play earned him 1st Team All-League honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1124985' first='Kale' last='Kern'] - Great Bend, 6'1”, 225, LB

Our staff raved about Kern's play throughout this season. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker racked up over 130 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and two sacks. Several recruiters were in attendance to see Great Bend football this season, and Kern definitely turned some heads. During October he took campus visits to Kansas and Notre Dame.

The 2025 campaign has officially concluded. State champions have been crowned, and postseason awards are being handed out. Which means it's a perfect time to move into Phase 1 of our offseason calendar. That being our end of season ranking updates.
