Raiden Valasquez was an unstoppable force during the entire practice, displaying impressive skills that set him apart from the rest. With his ability to catch contested passes and make big plays, he has earned the nickname “Big play Rai” after only two plays. His first step explosion off the release and smooth route running make him a versatile player who can run the entire route tree with ease. When it comes to skinny post or fade routes, opposing defensive backs are helpless unless they get safety help. Witnessing his performance live and in person with the 13U OC Buckeyes has made it clear that Raiden Valasquez is a remarkable football player who can truly make a difference on the field.

Mason is an exceptional cornerback who takes great pride in his abilities. He possesses exceptional footwork, fluid hips, and a comprehensive understanding of the position. Mason’s skills at playing the cornerback position are unparalleled, and he has a reputation for being a true technician. Additionally, Mason had an outstanding day playing as a wide receiver, where he showcased his ability to zone turn and expertly diagnose routes. During practice, I witnessed Mason’s masterful execution of the Cover 2 corner, as he skillfully baited the quarterback into thinking he had an open slot in the flat, only to break and intercept the ball, returning it for a pick-six touchdown. Mason’s talent and dedication to his craft make him a formidable force on the field and a valuable asset to any team.
