CBC
– One of the top overall athletes in his class both in St. Louis and the state. Can play both RB or S equally well at (6’0″ 175) and ran for 145 yards and a touchdown on only 7 carries in 2023. Jaylen was among the top performers at both the Elite Combine and Lindenwood camp running a consistent 4.8 laser forty, along with a 31″ vertical. He also played with Boom 7v7 and has good defensive back skills as well. Look for him to have a breakout season in 2024.

– The (6’2″ 180) Funches started on varsity as a freshman at DB and saw some action at WR as well, and was one of the top players in the 2026 class who I saw play varsity. Unfortunately. he missed his sophomore season due to injury, but looks primed for a big comeback in 2024. Christian is athletic, fast, has good size that he uses to his advantage and superior ball skills on offense and defense. He looked ready for major sophomore year in 2023 that was only delayed. He could be the top sleeper in the class to watch for.

Cardinal Ritter
– Lucas (6’3″ 200) is another player who has been on my radar the past couple of years and highly thought of among the top players at his position in his class. He’s played as part of a deep and talented receiving corps will of D1 prospects, but still contributed on the Class 5 State champs with 8 catches for a 139 yards for a 17,4 yards per catch average. Look for more opportunities to come his way in 2024 with graduations and transfers. Elijah has a great combination of size, speed and hands. He can play both receiver or tight end.

Timberland
– Injury delayed what looked like another breakout season with Owens (5’11” 175) who absolutely lit it up last spring and summer at camps and 7v7. Sky posted one of the top laser forties in the state among 2026 players with a 4.79 forty. He also hit a 10’1″ broad jump and showed his quickness in the 5-10-5 shuttle in testing. On top of his athleticism he also displayed great receiving and playmaking ability in open space. Sky can play on the inside or out at receiver and is good running the ball as well. He brings his playmaking and ball hawk skills to the defensive side as well.
