Littlejohn is one of the more explosive defenders across Northern California that no one knows about, and has been flying under the radar this off-season but was a big part in the magical season the Dons had in 2023, leading to a CIF State Title. He lines up both at defensive end and running back, and is a terrific overall athlete that moves exceptionally well for his size and has some freaky athletic abilities. Defensively, he is explosive off the ball, shoots his hands quickly and wins with natural bend, quick hands and good strength at the POA and closes quickly, collapsing the pocket from the outside. Against the run, he shows a quick lockout and disengage, processes blocks quickly and shows redirection skills in the open field and flies around with a high motor. Look for the ’26 prospect to burst onto the scene as a Junior for the Dons and put together another huge season this Fall.
Fifita is a massive kid in the middle of this Lancers defense, and is athletic enough to two-gap while strong enough at the POA to take on double teams and create immediate offensive displacement on the inside. He is powerful out of his stance and jacks up blockers with his strike and inside hands, while showing active feet and a strong base at the POA. Finding guys with his movement abilities and length at the IDL position is not easy, and makes him a very intriguing prospect for the next level, and it should not be long until he collects his first offer. Look for Fifita to once again be one of the toughest and most disruptive players across the vaunted WCAL in 2024, and play a big part in this loaded Saint Francis defense.
The Acalanes rising Junior is a very athletic two-way lineman that should help the Dons on both sides of the ball in 2024, and checks into our WL rankings as a name to keep a close eye on over the next two seasons. He is a physical blocker that can get to the second level, pull when needed and finishes blocks with nasty intentions downfield, while able to create immediate vertical push and maul smaller interior defensive lineman. In pass protection, he has patient hands and feet, does not overcommit to counter moves and can anchor-down against bull rushers as well. Look for Caicedo to be a name to watch for on post-season accolades next Winter and show some good progression over the next two seasons.
