Morris
5'11" | 165 lbs | WR
Plainfield East | 2025
State
IL
(Plainfield East – 5’11” 165)
Morris is a 5’11” receiver that is very athletic and smooth. His coaching staff loves to get him the ball via the bubble screen as it was shown over and over on tape. Does a good job of catching and getting downfield. Quickness in short areas make him tough to contain. Very slippery through traffic and has burst in the open field. On downfield passes he was best at the post tracking it well in the air. When thrown passes on the edge he would high point them or snatch them away from the defender. Creativity in the return game with several impressive kickoff returns.
Charlie Snoreck Charlie Snoreck 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Sandburg | 2025 State IL (Sandburg – 6’1” 180)
As a junior Snoreck had 77 catches for 1153 yards and 11 touchdowns. Easy to see why he scored so many TDs as he high points the ball in endzone extremely well. Consistently wins jump balls. Gets off the line with ease and has smooth acceleration down the field. Shifty at the top on short routes allows him to create tremendous separation. Willing to go over the middle to make plays and is adept at making defenders miss in the open field.
Austin Rowswell Austin Rowswell 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Lincoln Way-West | 2025 State IL (Lincoln Way West – 6’1” 180)
Good athlete that is fluid running his routes. Glides past safety for touchdown on post route. Splits the defense for catches. Tracks the ball well in the air and catches everything with his hands. Gets off the line with ease.
DeAndre Coates DeAndre Coates 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Lincoln Way-West | 2025 IL (Lincoln Way West – 6’1” 180)
Coates is a big wide out that has good size and long strides. Makes contested catches in traffic. More of a possession receiver than downfield threat at this stage. Very willing blocker that seems to take pride in it.
Dyllan Malone Dyllan Malone 6'1" | 155 lbs | WR Yorkville | 2025 IL (Yorkville – 6’1” 155)
Malone is a fluid receiver that has really long arms. Scores long TDs on go routes and bubble screens equally well. Tracks on the deep ball with his long strides. Gets in and out of cuts well and has an easy release off the line. Fluid route runner that is adept at out routes finding the sticks.
Omar Coleman Omar Coleman 5'8" | 155 lbs | WR Plainfield North | 2025 IL (Plainfield North – 5’8” 155)
Coleman is a smaller receiver at 5’8″ that has some juice. Can take a short route for a long gain. Good route runner that makes adjustments well on the ball. Wheel route seemed to be effective for him. Shifty slot guy that is tough to find.
Chico Thomas Chico Thomas 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Bolingbrook | 2025 IL (Bolingbrook – 6’0” 180)
Really liked the tape from this wide receiver from Bolingbrook. He was outstanding after the catch racking up YAC. Creative in the open field exploding with the ball in his hands. Smooth off the line and tracks the ball well down field. Wins contested catches and is a major threat in the redzone. Can also impact on short routes as well. Great after catch. Smooth off the line. Tracks the ball downfield.
Eli Walton Eli Walton 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Yorkville | 2025 IL (Yorkville – 5’11” 155)
Walton is a 5’11” receiver that gets off press coverage well at the line. Possession receiver that is good on out routes and bubble screens. Long snapper as well.
Samuel Gyimah (Rich Township – 6’0” 170)
This slot receiver plays well out of that position. Smooth route runner that creates separation from the DB. Really like how he tracks ball well in air and is adept at adjusting to it on the fly. Gadget guy that can run the ball.
Buddy Amos (Plainfield South – 5’10” 160)
The most impressive part of Amos’ tape was how he was consistently able to find the weak spot in the defense. Feel for finding it and giving the QB a place to throw the ball. Crisp route runner that can also high point.
Ty Couch (Minooka – 5’10” 145)
Couch is a possession guy that does a nice job of getting in and out of cuts. Creates separation with his crisp route running. Best right now playing out of the slot. Turns up field after catch and can tight rope on sideline. Gadget ability especially on jet sweeps.
