After breaking down some explosive running backs in the building, it’s time to take a closer look at some impactful offensive linemen.
In the first place spot is Camden Goforth Camden Goforth 6’4″ | 290 lbs | OL McMinn Co. | 2026 State TN , an offensive lineman at McMinn County High School. What stands out about Goforth is his ability to overpower his opponent off the snap, utilizing his core strength to win one-one-ones. I also like how Goforth can contain the blitz and block the defense to open up the pocket for the rush. With outstanding execution and strength, it’s no surprise that Goforth earned one of two MVP awards for offensive linemen.

Another top performer to establish himself was Wyatt Bakker Wyatt Bakker 6’2″ | 275 lbs | OL Father Ryan | 2025 TN , an offensive lineman at Father Ryan High School. In addition to great size, speed and strength, what stands out about Bakker is his ability to contain the defense, using his size, speed and arms to stun and overwhelm the opposition off the snap. I also like how Bakker can be disruptive, using his size to contest the blitz and protect his quarterback. Bakker was without question deserving of the other MVP award for his effort at the line.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Andre Amos, Jr Andre Amos, Jr 6’3″ | 285 lbs | OL Germantown | 2026 State TN , an offensive lineman at Briarcrest Christian High School. Amos contributes outstanding size and strength, showcasing his ability to use his arms and physical edge to blast his man to the ground off the snap. Another aspect of Amos that stands out is his ability to match the defensive line’s strength, proving he can both absorb pressure and disorient his opponent.

Another prospect to showcase his talent was Austin Hoane Austin Hoane 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Cookeville | 2026 State TN , an offensive lineman at Cookeville High School. What impresses me about Hoane is his quick execution off the snap and his ability to exert his strength to quickly overpower his opponent. On top of creating chaos and disorganization for the defensive line, I like how Hoane can absorb contact and open up the pocket for the rush.

I was also impressed with Ethan Eubanks Ethan Eubanks 6’5″ | 255 lbs | OL Oak Ridge | 2025 State TN , an offensive lineman at Oak Ridge High School. What stands out about Eubanks is his ability to lock down his opponent, utilizing strong footwork and strength to contain the defensive line as well as protect his quarterback in the pocket. I also like how Eubanks can use his size and strength to blast his man to the ground, buying the offense more time to work with.

Coming in at number six on my list is Charlie Edgeworth Charlie Edgeworth 6’7″ | 320 lbs | OL Baylor | 2026 TN , an offensive lineman at Baylor High School. Edgeworth impresses me with his explosiveness at the line of scrimmage, utilizing his outstanding strength and physical edge to consistently win against the defense and create openings in the pocket. I also like Edgeworth’s ability to contain the blitz and protect his quarterback in crucial scenarios.

I was additionally impressed with Alex Boyd Alex Boyd 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Maryville | 2025 TN , an offensive lineman at Maryville High School. Boyd makes a commanding statement at the line due to his speed off the snap and his ability to bully his opponent. With great size and strength, Boyd can protect his quarterback and catch the defense in the pocket. Boyd can also knock his foe to the ground using his arms, opening up the field for his teammates.

Another prospect to stand out in Murfreesboro was Xander McCormick Xander McCormick 6’4″ | 300 lbs | OL Warren Co. | 2025 TN , an offensive lineman at Warren County High School. What I like about McCormick’s playstyle is his ability to blast the defensive line off the snap, showcasing his ability to match his opponent’s physicality and knock them to the ground. I also like McCormick’s ability to protect his quarterback as he proved he can read the blitz and contain pressure in the pocket.

I also liked what I saw from Bo Bryan Bo Bryan 6’5″ | 300 lbs | OL Rockvale | 2025 TN , an offensive lineman at Rockvale High School. Bryan impresses me with his high-level aggression and physicality off the snap, showcasing his ability to barrel into his man and keep the defensive line behind the line of scrimmage. I also like Bryan’s field awareness and ability to lock down the defense in the pocket, proving he can quickly knock his opponent to the ground.

Also making a strong impression was Austin Wheat Austin Wheat 6’4″ | 290 lbs | OL Station Camp | 2025 TN , an offensive lineman at Station Camp High School. In addition to excellent size and speed, what stands out about Wheat is his team-oriented playstyle, using his strength and physicality to contain the blitz and block playmakers in the pocket. I also like Wheat’s ability to stun the defensive line with his strength, showing off his ability to open up the field and protect his running back and receivers on the run.

I’m also impressed with A.J. Johnson, an offensive lineman at Page High School. What impresses me about Johnson is his ability to use his size and strength to overpower his opponent as well as push the defense behind the line of scrimmage. Johnson also proved he could knock his man to the ground, using his arms to disorient his opponent in the pocket to buy his quarterback more time.
