<p>One hundred players are included in the initial Class of 2027 Kansas rankings. Among those 100 are several future offensive weapons. Here is a look at 10 athletes who were included in the initial rankings based on their ability to make big plays on the offensive side of the football.</p>

<p>One key issue I always stress with athletes is the slot you are ranked in is not nearly as important as just making the rankings. Numerous subscribers to Prep Redzone from all over the nation will now be exposed to the athletes in our rankings. Please keep in mind that these athletes have three years of high school ball left ahead of them. The players in the 2027 rankings could take many different paths as their academic and athletic careers unfold.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1113160' first='Noah' last='Hines'],</strong> WR, 6'0”, 145, Sacred Heart</p>

<p>Hines is a big-play receiver who gained 241 yards on 11 receptions, good for a 21.91-yards per catch average. Hines debuts in the rankings in the No. 32 slot.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='635158' first='Reed' last='Mcdiffett'],</strong> WR, 6'0”, 160, Wamego</p>

<p>Mcdiffett is a young wideout for the Wamego Indians who has some big-play ability. He runs crisp and tight routes and Wamego is a program where he can showcase his skills. Mcdiffit plays 7v7 with Kansas Elite. He debuts in the rankings at No. 37.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='944914' first='Malakai' last='Jones'],</strong> ATH, 5'11”, 175, Wichita East</p>

<p>Jones is an explosive weapon in a program with a dangerous offense. He is quick and is working hard on his academics so that he will be an attractive recruit for four-year programs. Jones can play multiple positions with his combination of size and speed. He debuts in the rankings in the No. 43 position.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='934979' first='Pete' last='Dorsey']</strong>, QB, 5'11”, 145, Wellsville</p>

<p>Dorsey did not get many varsity snaps, but he will compete for the Wellsville quarterback position after his older brother graduated. He carried the ball four times for six yards and threw two incomplete passes. He has a huge upside and comes from good stock. Dorsey enters the rankings at No. 50.</p>

<p>Green had a solid season for the Douglass Bulldogs. He rushed for 401 yards and three touchdowns. Green also made four catches resulting in 47 yards gained. He debuts in the Class of 2027 rankings at in the No. 51 slot.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1115928' first='Jaxson' last='Pollard']</strong>, ATH, 6'3”, 270, Lansing</p>

<p>Pollard played a little all over the place for the Lions last season. He rushed for 141 yards on 21 carries and caught two balls for six yards. He is versatile so it will be interesting to see what position he settles into over the next three seasons. He enters at No. 82 overall in the Class of 2027 rankings.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1125716' first='Camron' last='Fields'],</strong> RB, 5'8”, 185, KC Washington</p>

<p>Fields carried the ball 22 times in varsity action for 187 yards. He also made 12 receptions for 126 yards and one touchdown. Prep Redzone has Fields ranked No. 84 overall in the initial Class of 2027 rankings.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1113139' first='Christian' last='Erickson'],</strong> RB, 6'4”, 270, Smoky Valley</p>

<p>Erickson saw some varsity time for the Vikings during his freshman season. He rushed for 327 yards and scored three touchdowns. He debuts in the rankings at No. 85.</p>

<p>The Wyandotte Bulldogs have a young two-sport prospect to keep an eye on. Pike who completed 9-of-23 pass attempts threw for three touchdowns in limited varsity action. He also plays basketball for Wyandotte. He enters the Prep Redzone Kansas rankings at No. 88.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1125649' first='Mak' last='Blosser'],</strong> QB, 5'9”, 130, South Sumner</p>

<p>Blosser is a dangerous dual-threat quarterback from the eight-man ranks. He completed 60 percent of his pass attempts for 819 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 205 yards and eight scores during his freshman season. He debuts in the rankings at No. 95.</p>
