2026 is shaping out to be a class full of talent in the state of Idaho and here are some of the road grates that make it special:
Al-Shawaf is a young player that has excellent tools with his ability to bend and get of the ball quickly. He shows really good hand placement and ability to create knock back with his strike. Does a really good job of running his feet on contact and gets up to the next level. He will improve in his pass pro as he progresses through high school but already shows a solid base and ability to stay balanced.

Tanner is one of the top returning lineman in the state after starting for Rocky Mountain as a freshman last season. A player with tremendous upside and ability, where he shows off the power in his lower body with bone crushing down blocks. He’s smooth athlete that pulls with great fluidity and bends really well to go along with a high football IQ. Tanner is able to really get out on the edge and go one on one with some of the best pass rushers in the state while he stays balanced in his kick and is always under control for a counter.

McKenna is a bright spot for the Borah Lions where the sophomore is one of the strongest players pound for pound in the class. He is able to really show off his athleticism with his ability to run and pull. A plus athlete that is able to really bend and get good leverage but plays with high passion and effort. He is going to be a monster as he is already 6’2” with room to grow. He is a player to watch for sure in this upcoming season.
