Faith Lutheran’s senior TE led the team in receiving with 35 catches for 488 yards and 7 TDs this season. He’s a big-bodied target at 6’5”/230 that presents strong, natural hands and a broad catch radius as a pass catcher. Athleticism shows in his ability to adjust and extend for passes outside his frame and gets forcefully downhill after the catch. He shows commitment and physicality as a blocker but his true upside appears to lie in his athletic receiving skillset. The top uncommitted prospect in the NV 2024 rankings picked up an offer from Portland St. in October and a PWO offer from USC in November.
Taylor was a highly disruptive front-seven defender for Basic, totaling 65 tackles and 7 sacks this season. He’s an imposing force at 6’/275 with the strength and leverage to move IOL off the ball and fight through double teams. He’s a strong block shedder that uses active, violent hands to throw blockers aside and finishes with hard motor to the football. Taylor, who added offers from Minot St. and Mt. SAC in December, just picked up an offer from Central Washington on 1/3.
Highlights
Estes was one of the biggest on-field stock risers this season showing significant improvement in his overall production and athletic development at 6’5”/195. He’s a lengthy target holding potential to develop into a dominant red-zone threat with his combination of size, ball skills and body control. Led Douglas’ offense in receiving with 37 catches for 730 yards and 9 TDs as a senior. Also totaled 58 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 5 sacks from his OLB spot. His top-end speed might limit his ceiling as a WR at the next level but Estes’ athletic frame and versatile skillset present some of the highest upside of any available NV prospect.
Highlights
Stewart provided senior leadership and solid production (47 tackles, 6 sacks) for a young, talented Desert Pines front-seven this season. He’s a leaner, more athletic DL at 6’/250 that can get off the ball, move laterally, and track down QBs/ball-carriers in the backfield from multiple alignments. He uses his hands effectively as a block-shedder but could be even more powerful and dominant at the POA with more explosive burst out of his stance and consistency in his leverage. Stewart holds a D-II offer from Minot St. and would be a solid late-offer candidate for any D-II/D-III program looking for high-motor DL.
Dragovich is the top unsigned 2024 OL prospect in Nevada after the Early-Signing Day period. The 6’4”/320 senior primarily started at LT the past two seasons but has shown the versatility to move inside to OG as well. He’s a highly mobile run-blocker that can move laterally down the line and looks comfortable and under-control when working up to the second level. He’s effective in pass pro, showing light feet and strong use of his hands and reach. Dragovich, who’s drawn interest from several D-I programs, would be a solid late addition for any program looking for a potential future LT.
