He's great in pursuit and didn't play like your average freshman last year. He's smart, physical, and earned his 2nd offer this week from the Arkansas Razorbacks. He's a competitor, loves to work, and will only get better over his next three high school seasons. He's a young prospect on the rise and is bound for a giant sophomore season in 2024. As a freshman last year, Brown made 43 tackles and one sack. He already had D1-caliber size at 6-foot-0 200-pounds who runs really well and made a big impact as a freshman last year for an impressive 7A program. He shows strong instincts and toughness for his age, playing more like an experienced veteran than a young freshman. A consistent tackler, Godfree hits behind his pads and plays the game with a physical presence. He's coming off a big 2023 season where he made 78 tackles, seven TFLs and three sacks. He's quick off the ball and appears to be ahead of the curve as far as the fundamentals go. He's quick off the snap and uses his hands and raw strength to shed blocks and get after the ball-carrier. He can play on the EDGE and could move inside as he continues to add more weight and muscle mass over time. He made play after play in the backfield and could see his recruitment really take off soon. He's easy to notice and will only get better and better over the next three years.
