I think he projects to the safety position at the college level. He could play either strong safety due to his plus size and physicality, or free safety due to his coverage skills and ability to break on the ball. Because of his versatility he’s a player who will be able to be moved all over the defensive backfield on any particular play. He’s a player that I expect to blow up this offseason and earn blue blood offers this offseason.
LB Terrell Holcomb Terrell Holcomb 6'3" | 205 lbs | LB Gahanna Lincoln | 2025 State OH (Gahanna Lincoln) 6’3 205- Holcomb is another long defender. He lines up at safety for the Lions, but in my opinion at the college level he’s a 3 down linebacker who can play both the run and the pass. He’s very comfortable dropping and covering. He has a good feel for playing in space and the routes he takes to the ball. Versus the run he’s downhill and he’s violent. When he hits the ball carrier, they go backwards. I expect Holcomb to have a huge recruiting offseason with lots of P5 interest and offers.
ATH Seonta Stewart Jr (Winton Woods) 6’2 190- Stewart really started to blow up at the beginning of this offseason popping P5 offers from all directions. Seaonta is yet another talented defender to come from a Warriors defense that continues to be full of them. Listed as an athlete Seaonta, lined up at cornerback for Winton Woods. I like him as a cornerback who could play safety at the college level. He plays a physical brand of press man defense at the line of scrimmage. His punch and ability to get hands on receivers rarely allow receivers to get free releases. Beyond the physicality he has the athleticism to run with them and the ball skills to finish. It’s easy to see why he’s so coveted among P5 coaches. That momentum should only continue this offseason.
DL Jameil Hamm Jameil Hamm 6'4" | 230 lbs | DL Glenville | 2025 State OH (Glenville) 6’4 230- Hamm is a player who’s been on a great trend when it comes to development. Over the last couple of years, he’s continued to change his body and work on his technical skillset to go along with good athletic traits. At the college level I think Jameil projects to a strong side defensive end. Hamm is explosive off of the snap and uses his hands and length really well. He has fluid hips and a bends well for a player with his length. He can explode, dip, and shoot a gap and beat blockers with his athleticism. From a physical standpoint Jameil does a great job long-arming offensive tackles and then shedding to make plays. He’s developed to the point where I have no doubt that he looks like a P5 defensive lineman. Coming off the heels of a strong combine at the Army All American game, I think that P5 interest and offers will start to roll in.
DL Cal Thrush Cal Thrush 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Upper Arlington | 2025 State OH (Upper Arlington) 6’4 245- Thrush is another trench player who has seen a continuous trend of upward development. With the frame and strength he possesses he projects to the strong side defensive end position at the college level. He has a really strong bull rush that he uses to blow backwards and overwhelm opposing offensive tackles. Once Cal wins with his physicality, he does a good job of shedding and pursing the play. In space he has enough lateral burst and athleticism to play in space and be a problem. Thrush also does a great job of playing passing lanes and batting balls down at the line of scrimmage. Thrush has really seen him recruiting momentum pick up during this January contact period landing sever Power 5 offers. That’s a trend, like with his physical development, that will continue to trend upwards!
