Mikhail McCreary Mikhail McCreary ATH Johnson | 2027 TX came to the National Combine looking like he had something to prove. When you look at his measurables and testing numbers you have to remind yourself that McCreary is a freshman growing into his new muscle. His 40 time was in the top percentile at 4.8 (laser) with a peak velocity of 20.58 and a max vertical of 120.50. McCreary was a in the top 80% and 50% in every category against his peers. During one on ones Mikhail lined up against some of the biggest 3 and 4 star names in the country not giving up a single catch to one of them. As a freshman that’s beyond impressive for his potential and upside that he has. I’d keep my eye on McCreary this offseason and this summer as he heads to camps all over the country.
Alberto De La Garza Jr
Alberto De La Garza Jr
After broad jumping 9’6 and a vertical of 34′ as a junior I can see why colleges are excited to see the growth and explosiveness from De La Garza. Aggressive with his hands at the LOS, knows the game, patient, and uses his technique well. Although I think De La Graza Jr is as amazing at Corner as he is at Safety in 11 man he’s one heck of a cover corner in one on one. Alberto won at least 75%-80% of his reps and 100% of his reps versus ranked opponents at the combine this weekend. Don’t be surprised when his recruiting takes off this spring and summer as he continues checking off the boxes.
As I stated on Friday Bowman came to Texas with a chip on his shoulder and moved with intent the whole time he was at the combine. I watched Bowman make some of the toughest acrobatic catches with one and two hands and look practically impossible to guard. I caught up with Preston and asked him to tell me a little about himself that he’d want college coaches to know and he stated “ I’m a tireless worker looking for the right opportunity” and he feels likes one of the TOP WR in the nation. After what I seen Friday I’m excited to watch him camp this summer as well as check out a game next fall. He’s as guy to keep your eye on.

I knew after watching McCarthy warm up for testing that he was going to have a good day. Not only did McCarthy test fairly well he put on a show in one on ones. This 2026 standout plays a lot bigger and stronger than he looks. He has really good hips, physical at the line, a high motor and very good balls skills. He’s going to be a guy to watch this spring and during the camp circuit this summer.
Avery McCormick
Avery McCormick
Flying around like someone launched him out of a rocket is how explosive and all over the place McCormick was this past weekend at the All American Bowl Combine. He was a guy that you didn’t want to miss and he dominated every chance he got. McCormick already holds a hand full of offers from Arkansas State, EKU, New Mexico Stat, Austin Peay, Marshall University and the University of New Mexico. Although McCormick already holds offers he moved around like a guy who was seeking his very first offer. Keep an eye on him as he continues to grown and mature over the next few months.
Kalvin Meadows
Kalvin Meadows
At 6’6 280lb with an 84′ wingspan this 2025 OL came to Texas and made an even bigger name for himself. Not only did he show up in shape and ready to go but he looked like a man on a mission. Kalvin holds offers from Arkansas State, EKU, UTM, Mississippi Valley State, Bethel, Troy, Univ of New Mexico and New Mexico State. I caught up with Meadows and I can say he isn’t a man of many words and lets his play do all of the talking. After a huge camp circuit I expect Meadows to be a household name at a P5 if he camps correctly and does what he needs to do this summer.
