Ridiculous production.

Great measurables.

High-profile situations.

Shelving any signs of pressure.

Whatever the reason, the nine players below gave us every reason and then some to move them up in the Prep RedZone Class of 2026 rankings. They've put themselves into great position to do even more the last two years of high school football.

[player_tooltip player_id='473021' first='Caden' last='Ramsey'] ATH, Cross (Up four spots)

Ramsey's first college offer (Coastal Carolina) followed up a spectacular showing at the Joanne Langfitt Challenge in December, which also followed his strong sophomore season. Ramsey is 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds and has all the talent in the world given his size and speed. We're still not sure if he's a better safety or receiver, and we'll probably debate it for two more years. Either way, he moved into our overall top 10.

[player_tooltip player_id='816751' first='Jude' last='Hall'] WR, Christ Church (Up 14 spots)

Hall isn't a high-volume receiver, but we attribute most of that to the fact that he plays in the same pass-catching group as rising senior [player_tooltip player_id='1012637' first='Jackson' last='Repp']. That means Hall has to make the most of his touches - something he did in 2023. He used 24 receptions to the tune of 538 yards and nine touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='816740' first='Marcus' last='Cann'] ATH, Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Up 14 spots)

As a receiver last fall, Cann averaged 24.3 yards per catch (20 receptions, 485 yards). The scarier part of his game is what he did when they had him lining up at tailback. There, he used only 25 carries to reach 547 yards. That's 21.9 yards per carry. According to coach Corey Crosby, he has no choice but to make Cann a bigger part of the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025784' first='Roper' last='Wentzky'] QB, AC Flora (Up 17 spots)

Wentzky hadn't even yet secured the starting job when fall camp opened in late July. It made his production throughout the 2023 season that much more special. He finished with 2,694 yards and 30 touchdown passes, but more importantly, he formed a great connection with fellow sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1165081' first='Kendall' last='Byrd'], something that makes this team's potential even better.

[player_tooltip player_id='402509' first='Trevor' last='Kalisz'] QB, Ashley Ridge (Up 27 spots)

Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='589052' first='Derrick' last='Salley'] had a monster year. With that out of the way, we can address Kalicz, the quarterback who will usher this team into the post-Salley era. The quarterback has a rocket right arm and had no issue distributing the ball when he had to. Two other returning receivers caught double-digit passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='473027' first='Meliq' last='McGowan'] RB, Goose Creek (Up 30 spots)

McGowan is a near-perfect combination of vision, size, strength, speed and cutting who used all that to pile up just shy of 1,700 rushing yards and 2,000 total yards for the Gators last season. While he was a bit undersized during the 2022 season, he weighed in north of 175 at last year's Palmetto Combine. The added bulk only made him that much better.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025815' first='Caleb' last='Geronomi'] DB, White Knoll (Up 42 spots)

Geronomi (pictured) was a pretty good player during the regular season, helping White Knoll to a perfect run to the playoffs. Then, in the postseason, his game took another step forward. The sophomore corner picked off three more passes (giving him five total for the year), broke up three more passes (also giving him five total) and recorded 23 tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='402503' first='Michael' last='Doe'] RB, North Augusta (Up 53 spots)

The 5-foot-8, 180-pound tailback moved up our rankings after finishing the season with 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground and another 142 yards and four scores receiving. Of the Yellow Jackets' 38 offensive touchdowns, Doe, then, accounted for roughly 47 percent of them. He can handle high carry numbers and takes on even more of the offense next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='377560' first='Donovan' last='Murph'] WR, Irmo (Up 57 spots)

It took us about six seconds to realize that Murph wasn't going to have any issue acclimating to his new team after moving into the Midlands from Maryland. By the time region play started, Murph had already piled up 373 yards and six touchdowns. And those five games were mostly blowouts when Murph wasn't on the field much in the second half.
