2025 RBs Poised for Breakout Spring

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Continuing the series for 2025 Prospects who will be names to know this spring, we move on to the running backs. I am looking at players that may still be under the radar as recruits &amp; don't have a lot of offers yet. These are guys who were either playing in a rotation and will be given more carriers next fall or players that showed this past season they can be that dude. All are names that will get on college coaches radars this spring/summer. He continued on having a big season, leading the MIAA in rushing with over 1,200 yards and 12 TDs on the ground. Big back with size and strength. Kendrick runs behind his pads, breaking through arm tackles and fighting for extra yards. Good combo of speed/power, he can go between the tackles or bounce it out wide. Can be utilized in the passing gam as well, effective in screens and flares out of the backfield. I also see him display good balance, patience, and footwork in the hole before accelerating through with burst for big gains. Really like his toughness and competitiveness when he runs, does not back down from a defender. Saw him live in person for Walkersville's playoff win over Damascus HS and Jordan had an impactful evening that game. Downhill runner with deceptive speed, will gallop past defenders with a smooth stride. Hits the hole hard with explosiveness and power and keeps his legs churning. Shows good vision on when to bounce it outside, but would like to see him improve on his quick cut ability. Is a 3 sport athlete, playing basketball and running track. The track work shows in fluid running motion and game speed as he runs a 11.2 100m at 6'1 200lbs. Jordan is also a star off the field with a 4.0+ GPA. Weight room kid who is pure muscle with yoked legs/lower half.  He has a strong junior season with over 1,000yds rushing on 7.1 ypc and 8 TDs. Nana has great feet for a RB. Quick, nimble and smooth. He makes strong cuts hits the hole with burst and can make you miss in tight spaces. Creates his own space and separation, darting and weaving by defenders with good lateral quickness. Plays hard, is a competitor on the field. Plays LB for Bel Air as well, while also wrestling for the school. He is one who will lay the wood, so he is not afraid on contract when running the ball.  JT is originally from Cameroon where he grew up playing soccer, which I'm sure is how he developed the quick feet. Freshman year at Bel Air was he first experience to playing football and Coach Siegel says he took to the game immediately with great energy u0026amp; passion. JT is a kid you want to see succeed. Personable, high character and hard worker. He is a slapped together guy, muscled up and will continue to get stronger. Shows high level vision at the LOS. Quick, choppy feet that allows him to make quick cuts and moves to create his own space. He makes it hard for defenders to get a clean hit on him with his elusiveness. Displays good top end speed on film, track kid as well running a 11.33 100M. His speed also makes him effective in the KR game as well Was all WCAC 2nd team this past fall, while sharing the backfield with 2024 Wisconsin signee Dillin Jones. A kid I need to see more of myself, but showed a lot in Forest Park's playoff game against Calvert. Tijuan kept his team in that game making play after play including an 80+. yd TD run , breaking multiple tackles and blazing down the sideline. Another track kid and he shows his speed on tape, one that many schools will want to get a time on this summer. Reed has a huge junior season,  totaling over 1,700 all purpose yards with 24 TDs.He is a home-run threat every time he touches the ball. Shows burst, wiggle and playmaking ability. His strongest trait is his shiftiness. He is twitchy and quick with good wiggle and loose hips. Can start-stop, shows the ability to have fluid COD and burst out of that.  Makes strong cuts and dynamic when running the ball. Is a physical player, runs hard, not afraid of contact as he plays DB for Gilman also and will hit. A big back at 6'1 and 200+ with a frame to fill out nicely with another ~20lbs. easily. Downhill, physical runner who hits the hole and goes. Strong kid who runs behind is pads and seeks out contact. He may not be the shiftiest back but he can make you miss with strong jump cuts and smooth COD with good burst. Is a power/speed back who can stiff arm off tacklers and always keeps his legs churning.
