Continue ReadingDior Garner Dior Garner 6’4″ | 285 lbs | DL Canton McKinley | 2025 State OH is a player that few linemen can block in one-on-one situations for his overwhelming power and technique. Garner’s quickness from the nose tackle position is a real problem for teams trying to run the ball between the tackles. Often winning the line of scrimmage off the snap, his power jams up linemen which allows his linebackers to clean up the ball carrier. Gets to the ball himself at a high rate for a defensive lineman thanks to his form. Sticks to what he does well with power rushes with quick footwork to send his man backwards. Plays against some of the best competition in the state of Ohio and performs at a high level to produce some of the most impressive tape you will see from a high school athlete. His offseason has already been a productive one with a number of schools including Ohio State, Michigan, Kentucky and Pitt keeping their eye on him while he holds an offer from Bowling Green.

K’Vuone McNeal K’Vuone McNeal 6’3″ | 225 lbs | DL Canton McKinley | 2025 State OH possesses instincts from the defensive end position you just can’t teach to be a menace in the backfield. McNeal has great body control to elude offensive linemen with his speed. Has long arms he uses to evade pressure from offensive linemen, can reach for quarterbacks who believe they have a clean pocket. Does an above average job to feel a weakness in a linemen and exploit it. Exceptional ability to shift his body weight against a linemen’s weak side to get past his man. Great agility from the edge to not only create pressure, but finishes the job as a powerful tackler. McNeal has interest from several MAC schools which has primed him as one of the top edges in all of Northeast Ohio.

Isiah Switzer Isiah Switzer 6’6″ | 285 lbs | OL Glenville | 2025 State OH has the makings of the next big offensive linemen out of Cleveland for his size and aggressive nature. Very good strength to handle power rush with strong feel to maintain his ground. Intelligent football that knows his assignment playing right or left tackle. Above average run blocker with good ability when scraping to the second level. Has good athleticism to handle shifty linebackers who try to elude him. Zyon Newson Zyon Newson 6’4″ | 280 lbs | DL Elyria | 2025 State OH has commanding size at 6-foot-4 and 285-pounds to dominate the line of scrimmage even against double teams. Newson is an explosive player at a robust size that can handle double teams regularly. Is very athletic for his frame to fire off and overwhelm offensive linemen. Shows impressive abilities in the open field to contain skill position players. Is real problem for smaller players as he shows good power to bully undersized linemen. Long wingspan to reach at ball carriers in crowded areas. Relentless motor when getting after the ball, plays hard until the job is done. Newson recently picked up his first Division I offer from Toledo and it won’t be his last as an impact player that has grown a lot over the past two seasons.

Eli Kaufman Eli Kaufman 6’4″ | 270 lbs | OL Wadsworth | 2025 State OH is a wrecking ball from the right tackle position as a player who loves nothing more than driving his man to the turf. Kaufman uses power in his upper body to overwhelm defensive ends who square up with him to drive them off the line. He has good footwork in the run game to maintain good balance while getting the edge sealed. Hard blocker when crashing down to knock over defensive linemen not ready for his block. Good lateral movement to keep a clean pocket for his quarterback. Packs a big punch into his initial contact, but has good form to keep himself balanced to keep driving. Kaufman has two offers already to Toledo and Akron as an anticipated offensive linemen for next season.
