Prep Redzone breaks it down….
Jonathan Granby Jonathan Granby 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Fellowship Christian | 2026 State GA – Fellowship Christian
An athletic, dynamic player with good speed and outstanding arm talent, Granby is a promising young gunslinger with a high ceiling as a dual-threat quarterback. He’s coming off a big sophomore season where he combined for 2,235 yards through the air and on the ground. He’s got a raw, but live arm who has no problem slinging the ball down the field. He didn’t throw for a ton of yards on a weekly basis, but he was safe with the football, throwing for 17 touchdowns and just three INTs. He did his job, took care of the ball, and played extremely well overall for a sophomore. The natural talent is easy to see, and now he just needs to continue developing and growing as a quarterback. He makes some D1-caliber plays, and with a big junior season, the Roswell native could see his recruitment pick up some.
Drew Richardson – East Jackson
An impressive dual-threat quarterback in the Athens area who is coming off a dynamic sophomore season, Richardson is a good runner with outstanding burst down the field. As a passer, Richardson was efficient and showed the ability to stretch the field with his arm. There were some growing pains, but that’s to be expected for any sophomore holding the starting role. Still, Richardson still threw for a respectable 1,818 yards and 15 touchdowns through the air. His best games were against West Hall where he threw for 295 yards and Johnson where he threw for 273 yards. He threw for over 200 yards in four games last year. As a runner, he took off for 613 yards and nine touchdowns. He showed a lot of promise as a sophomore, and if he can add more weight and continue developing, he could be bound for a breakout junior season in 2024.
Jordan Do Jordan Do 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB Archer | 2026 GA – Archer
A really good athlete who can really push the ball downfield, Do was a 2nd Team All Region selection this fall after throwing for just under 1,900 yards and 17 touchdowns as a sophomore this past fall. Archer lost the last three games of the season, but Do played really well as the season went on. He threw an accurate ball down the field and completed 60% of his passes, not a bad number for a sophomore playing against some tough, quality competition on a weekly basis. As a runner, the Archer gunslinger rushed for 490 yards and four touchdowns. He’s a quarterback on the rise who is just started to scratch the surface of his potential. He’s a Gwinnett county quarterback to know about next year for his junior season. The Tigers are on the rise, and this young man has the potential to get them back to their winning ways.
