Hunter Green Hunter Green 6'2" | 230 lbs | TE West Forsyth | 2025 GA – West Forsyth
One of the more underrated, versatile players in the 2025 class, Green is a tough, physical player who can make plays on offense, defense, and special teams. A gritty player who can do a little bit of everything, Green has a strong, compact frame at 6-foot-2 235-pounds who plays with an edge. He’s powerful and plays a physical style of football. He’s outstanding at the point of attack and a strong lead blocker at both fullback or tight ends. He can catch the ball well and acts like a bowling ball down the field, bouncing off defenders with ease. He’s an impact defensive lineman who can also make a lot of plays on special teams. He’s coming off a big junior season where he caught 19 passes on offense for 255 yards and three touchdowns. He can run, catch, hit, and just about anything else on the football field. Defensively, Green was productive and even blocked two punt on special teams. He’s someone who could have a gigantic senior season next fall.
Harrison Richards – Lambert
He’s certainly not the biggest defender around, but don’t let the size fool you. This two-sport standout is a promising junior player who was a consistent playmaker for the Longhorn defense all season long. The instinctive defensive back reads the QB well in coverage and can make a play on the ball in the air. In fact, helping lead a stout Lambert defense this past fall, Richards made 38 total tackles with three INTs and one forced fumble. He’s a sure tackler who has no problem flying down and helping against the run. This Forsyth County junior was recently named a 6-7A First-Team selection on defense. He was one of the best 2025 defenders in Forsyth County last year and should be even better as a senior in 2024.
Colter Vela – North Forsyth
A quick, instinctive defensive back with impressive ball skills, Vela is a football magnet who can make plays both in coverage and against the run. He reads the quarterback, covers a lot of ground, and if he’s around the ball, he’s going to make a play on it. He reacts quickly and is one of the better tacklers on the team. The playmaking defender was really productive last season, making 72 total tackles and two INTs while recovering two fumbles and forcing another. He runs well, plays behind his pads, and gives max effort on a consistent basis. A versatile player and a natural with the ball in his hands, he’s a shifty runner who can also help in the return game. He’s a sound football player overall and will be one of the top returning defenders in Forsyth County for next year’s 2024 season.
