Here is a scouting report on some of the prospects from the Sunflower State who are coming off their junior seasons and looking to get an early jump on their recruitment by participating in the PRZ event.
Jacob Hawks Jacob Hawks 6'8" | 315 lbs | OL Washburn Rural | 2025 State KS , LB, 6’8”, 305, Washburn Rural, ‘25
Hawks is a nasty left tackle. His middle name should be legally changed to “Pancake.” He has nice footwork for a big man and is a big reason that Washburn Rural had such a successful offense in 2023.
Micah Fiscus Micah Fiscus 5'10" | 170 lbs | QB Wichita Southeast | 2025 State KS , QB, 5’10”, 150, Wichita Southeast, ‘25
Fiscus is a smooth-looking quarterback. He has a nice release and can sling the ball. The Golden Buffalo had a 1-8 season, but the success they did have on offense can be linked to the play of their quarterback.
Dakari Wake Dakari Wake 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Leavenworth | 2025 State KS , DB, 6’0”, 180, Leavenworth, ‘25
Wake is a play-making defensive back who I watched play in person this fall. He is solid in coverage, but can also make tackles. He has a nice combination of size and speed.
Koby Le Koby Le 6'1" | 240 lbs | DL Emporia | 2025 State KS , DL, 6’1”, 230, Emporia, ‘25
I saw Le last season during the combine season, and also in the Spartan’s preseason jamboree at Wichita Heights. Le has good speed and has been working hard in the weight room to improve his recruitment stock. Except Hawks, the other three prospects played on losing teams and can gain a lot from the extra exposure in St. Joe.
Ekin Yildiz, WR, 6’2”, 190, Life Prep Academy, ‘25
Life Prep Academy is a program in Kansas that is bringing a large group of athletes to the event. It’s the perfect event for this group of players since they lack online film and get very little media coverage. Yildiz has a Hudl account and social media account but is missing film.
Humphrey Sherman Jr., OL/DL, 6’2”, 320, Life Prep Academy, ‘25
Sherman has one clip on his Hudl account and he does look like a player to be dealt with in that highlight. He’s a big man and when you have that kind of natural size coaches are sure to notice him at the showcase.
