New York Quarterbacks
Having wrote about Patrick Coan Patrick Coan 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Sayville | 2026 State NY earlier, he was definitely a prospect I wanted to get eyes on. One particular rep he took Coan threw an absolute bomb on a double-move by the wide receiver. It appears that Coan threw the rock to a spot on the field – perfectly placed between the defender and the sideline – where his target was able to haul it in without having to tightrope the boundary…… Jacob Guzik Jacob Guzik 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Huntington | 2026 NY , a 2026 prospect out of Huntington, Long Island was an emerging prospect throughout the camp. He limited defenders’ reaction time by having a quick, sudden release. The ball came out of his possession and took flight in a hurry…… Elijah Outlaw Elijah Outlaw 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB West Babylon | 2025 State NY from West Babylon has all the physical tools to not just play, but excel, at the game. On one spin I saw Outlaw throw a majestic strike to his receiver on a deep-breaking post. As the ball traveled through the air Outlaw led his receiver beautifully, allowing his speed to open up, create separation at the top of the route, and score with ease……. Sherrard Bennard from Lewis J. Bennet High School might have thrown the prettiest ball I saw all afternoon. It starts with his solid mechanics. Quick feet, compact throwing motion, weight transfer, and follow through. Multiple times when the ball left his hand I was left to marvel – only for me to be sure I caught his next spin to check those mechanics.
New Jersey Quarterbacks
Randolph’s Joshua Anderson Joshua Anderson 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Randolph | 2024 NJ , who won the quarterback MVP award, was certain to grab the attention of a few college coaches as the 2024 graduate appears ready to play at the next level. Anderson threw absolute bullets. Not to say he did not deliver a deep ball, but his ball came out at a very high velocity. When throwing slants or flairs, he delivered the ball in advance of the break and on a spot where his target could catch and run…… Reilly Hoffacker Reilly Hoffacker 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Timber Creek Regional | 2025 State NJ , who I previewed coming into the camp, was exceptional in the short passing game. The ball whizzed out to the flat time-and-time again. More impressively, he anticipates when to release the ball very well into the flat and out the ball in a place only his guy could grab it…… Aside from looking the part, Brenden Pacheco Brenden Pacheco 6'4" | 195 lbs | QB Somerville | 2025 NJ certainly played the part. He drove the ball with velocity and urgency when throwing the skinny post and lofted beautiful passes to running backs on the wheel route. He was in sync with both one particular receiver and one particular running back each; however, I noticed he took all his reps with those two same players. Come to find out those two skills are his Somerville teammates.
Pennsylvania Quarterbacks
Hailing from Archbishop Ryan, Francis Mawson was a quarterback who possessed strong fundamentals. I witnessed him transfer his weight and begin to snap his hips when delivering the ball. I would like to see Ryan again down the road to see how his deep ball’s delivery has developed, as the ball seemed to flutter on one rep I happen to witness.
