Keagen certainly was not a linebacker prospect that lacked physicality last Sunday in Jamestown. This young man has a significantly pressing motor and plays like a blue-collar linebacker I would want on my roster. He showed off an edgy change of direction from his testing numbers in the shuttle, which I was highly impressed with his numbers as I found out his offensive position lies with the hogs in the trenches. We will be intrigued to gather more info on Keagen with more tape yet to be seen out of this 2025 two-way prospect. Twitter

Another meat-grinder type linebacker in Jamestown at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase was Huron (SD) linebacker Kolby Hofer Kolby Hofer 5’9″ | 185 lbs | LB Huron | 2025 State SD . Kolby impressed me with his instincts within his footwork thru Indy drills into 1v1s. Kolby also showed off a linebacker that shows off to me that can play from sideline to sideline with the dexterity he showed off in Jamestown with his open hips. He was one of 11AA’s leading tacklers in South Dakota last year as when you roll the tape feeds into his gap with excellent authority and vision to plug it quickly. This young man’s football IQ is high in my eyes, and is certainly one that I would love to see on Saturdays. Twitter
Luke was another prospect on our linebacker standouts that I believe pops out more with his football IQ on the field versus his testing numbers. Luke showed off long-lived vision from what I saw at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase as a nearly 6’2 200 pound linebacker that has the long-striding length to the ball that college coaches are going to be attracted to as he develops his speed and agility. He also showed off an underclassmen linebacker that impressed me with how well he took the coaching he was given. The hotbed that is the Velva Aggies, sure looks to be good hands even into their 2026 class. Twitter

Zachary was a linebacker I had circled after watching his tape a little less than a week before because I was so impressed by his development from our Spring Showcase. Zachary showed off in Jamestown how much balance he has within his footwork, as I felt too each of the skillsets I evaluated recently showed some quick growth especially with his glowing instincts to the ball with that improved balance. He also has gotten more catchy out his stance with his pursuit angles as there are hints of athleticism that Zachary has grown in his now 200 pound frame that has certainly found his home in the weight room as of late. Zachary is also a prospect that I like his character, as he’s grown for sure in the last year or so. He certainly shows off a next-level prospect in my eyes. Twitter
