I called it out this summer that I loved seeing the growth of Zach’s change of direction and he has demonstrated even further with his development. Zach has turned more into a sideline to sideline linebacker as even when he transitions to the other side of the ball this young man does a great job with finishing his tackles with sound physicality. The tape also shows Zach’s improvement with his vision and overall, his instincts pre-snap look smoother than a year ago. His high character, 4.0 GPA and being a member of the National Honor Society along with his skillsets have picked up some offers recently and that great traction should do nothing but continue to grow this fall on his recruiting trail.

Zachary was a linebacker I had circled after watching his tape a little less than a week before because I was so impressed by his development from our Spring Showcase. Zachary showed off in Jamestown how much balance he has within his footwork, as I felt too each of the skillsets I evaluated recently showed some quick growth especially with his glowing instincts to the ball with that improved balance. He also has gotten more catchy out his stance with his pursuit angles as there are hints of athleticism that Zachary has grown in his now 200 pound frame that has certainly found his home in the weight room as of late. Zachary is also a prospect that I like his character, as he’s grown for sure in the last year or so. He certainly shows off a next-level prospect in my eyes. Twitter

As a Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum, Zach is a linebacker prospect I have seen growth from last Spring as we approach into the plays with the biggest skillset popping out is his physicality. Zach has grown more strength within his frame from his sophomore tape into his junior tape and it’s evident when you watch his tape every week. Zach also has developed his first step, which has aligned him with better positioning with that contact I mentioned as he has more longevity in his motor to patrol the edges of the field with more explosion based on what his tape shows off. Zach is another ND prospect that has gained some interest from North Dakota schools from Division II, NAIA and the JUCO ranks. Twitter
