The four-star national recruit chatted with us about where he felt he improved the most as a junior.
“I think I have a lot of stuff to improve on, but it went pretty well. I think I improved my physicality, my speed, and my catching.”
The #3 overall recruit in the 2025 class plays on both sides of the ball, but at the next level will be a pass rusher. What does he see as his strengths at this stage of his development?
“My speed and the fact that I play basketball my footwork is not normal.”
Marshall rattled off a list of just some of the offers he has on the table.
“Miami (FL), Alabama, Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, etc.”
He recently took a pair of visits to big time programs.
“I just took a visit to Michigan a week ago and also took one to Miami (FL) two weeks before that.”
Miami recently flipped five-star defensive tackle Justin Scott Justin Scott 6'5" | 315 lbs | DL St. Ignatius | 2024 State IL from St. Ignatius to the Hurricanes in the senior class. Marshall has talked with Scott about them and enjoyed his trip to south Florida.
“Miami was pretty good. They lost the game, but I like the coaches a lot. I know they are building something great over there.”
Michigan is headed to the college football playoffs. He spoke about what stands out with the Wolverines.
“Their culture. The fact that they are a powerhouse in the Big 10 that is great.”
He has several other programs that he would like to visit in the near future.
“Definitely Ohio State, Oregon, USC, and Florida.”
What is going to be important in a school?
“The people, the education, and who I am surrounding myself with.”
