Hicks displays a great relentless pursuit across all levels of the field. His quick first read step, allows him to diagnose the play and then attack downhill in run defense. Great at containing plays, forcing them to stay inside allowing him or his teammates to make a play. Consistent tackler especially in open space, one-on-one situations. Good at zoning the field, keeping everything underneath. Heading into his senior season, I wouldn’t be too shocked if his play started getting put on notice as we head into the new year.

Mills is going to be the quarterback to watch out for heading into the 2024 season. A Pro-Style QB that does have good mobility in the pocket, stepping into his throws. He demonstrates a good understanding of the game while showing his quick release. High IQ player that’s able to read defenses pretty well. Great leadership and accuracy through all levels of the field. They’ll be making the transition from 8-man to 11-man football in 2024. As we get deeper into the recruiting process of his class, expect his name to be tossed around cross the nation.

Mosley plays with a good read and react ability on the ball. Keeps everything in his sight to where he’s able to make a play whether that’s intercepting, breaking up a pass or making a tackle. He’s able to switch his hips quickly and stay with his man on the route. Smart defender that can play off-ball or press man. His work ethic and ability are truly deserving of playing at the second level including FBS or FCS.

Rainey is a true playmaker at heart, playing both sides of the ball at corner and wide receiver. I favor him at corner but definitely can put the “ATH” ATHETE symbol beside his name. Great at staying with his man, easily breaking down and arriving when the ball gets to the receiver making a play. Good open field tackler that you can trust in a 1-on-1 situation. Good ball tracking skills and able to stay on schedule. Excited to see his athleticism at the next level when that time comes.

Settles is a physical downhill (north & south) runner that displays great vision through the tackles. Good solid frame as a running back that makes it difficult to take down if you’re tackling too high. On top of that frame, he has a great natural balance to stay up right from taking hits while making moves. Good agility and footwork with a second level burst that allows him to take it to the house. True athlete. Already has an offer from SMU but his name will be knocking on some coaches’ doors by this time next season.
