The B.C. AAA provincial championship game was decided on Saturday with Vancouver College beating Carson Graham 21-0 in the AAA championship game. There are numerous players that are going to be highlighted below as standouts from the AAA championship game that need to be on the radar of recruiters if they aren't already.

Vancouver College

[player_tooltip player_id='1021743' first='Hudson' last='Bromley'] (2024) Running Back

As the starting running back for Vancouver College it was almost assured that Hudson was going to play a key role if his team was going to win and he did. Scoring 2 touchdowns in the 21-0 win for Vancouver College including a 31 yard run for the first touchdown of the game Hudson showed off the full arsenal of his potential at the next level. Listed at 6'0" 205 lbs Hudson is a between the tackles power back with the patience to let the blocking develop before hitting the hole. Hudson also showed the open field ability to break long runs in the championship game that ability should translate well to the next level.

Cayden Nguyen (2024) Center

A supreme athlete at center Cayden was dominate in the championship game. Despite being listed at 5'11" 215 lbs Cayden runs a 4.7s 40 yard dash while being able to squat 425 lbs and it showed in pass protection and run blocking. On the opening drive Vancouver College ran right behind Cayden every single play because he was getting underneath, turning the defensive lineman and moving them 5 yards downfield with relative ease. Without Cayden at center Vancouver College would not have won the championship and he showed despite his size that he can play as a center at the university level all the while being an elite linebacker prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='892305' first='Carter' last='Martin'] (2025) Defensive Tackle

Positioned at the head up nose spot in 3-4 defense, Carter was drawing 2-3 offensive lineman to try and block him on every single play in the championship game and didn't matter. Even with 2-3 blockers on him Carter was consistently pushing the pocket and getting in the quarterbacks face all the while his teammates were able to get pressures and sacks because he was drawing at least 2 blockers on every play. Carter shows the strength needed to be an impact player at the next level while also showing enough speed that he can play in multiple defensive line positions based on the front that is desired by the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1104978' first='Declan' last='Skinner'] (2024) Free Safety

Declan was one of the main reasons that Vancouver College pitched a shutout. Lining up at FS versus the pass heavy Carson Graham team, Declan was locking down any pass that was vertical in the middle of the field including making a great read on seam pass to come downhill and play through the receiver's hands and to knock the ball out allowing him to make a spectacular interception. That was just one example of Declan making great reads at safety which is why he was able to control the middle of the field. Be able to make great reads and being able to attack from the FS position combined with fluid hips and 4.89s forty speed he has the ability to play anywhere in the secondary.

Carson Graham

Andrew Macintosh (2024) Corner

The lone bright spot on Carson Graham, Andrew was really good at corner. Often left on an island in man coverage for most of this game Andrew was always tight to his man on every route not allowing much of anything to happen. He has a really smooth and efficient pedal that allows him to be available to help the defense in both the run and pass, he also has the speed to match up against any receiver in the province. Andrew is also a willing run defender at corner which is an underrated asset that should help him stand out for recruiter looking for a really solid projectable rotation corner at the next level.
