Southfield A&T vs Belleville: Standout Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Southfield </strong>upset <strong>Belleville</strong> in the state championship by a score of 36-32 in favor of <strong>Southfield</strong>. He made some great catches and put a lot of pressure on the <strong>Belleville </strong>defense. Braceful had an excellent season for <strong>Southfield</strong> and was a major factor in them winning a state title. Braceful gets off the line of scrimmage well and has the speed to stretch the field. He has good play strength and does not get pushed off his routes easily. I like his footwork and he does not have a problem of getting off press man coverage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='77216' first='Isaiah' last='Marshall'] | QB | Southfield A&amp;T | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14556350/650c5f3423529d092ce545ee">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marshall is a physical runner who had some outstanding runs in this game. <strong>Southfield</strong> found success early running the ball with Marshall and decided to stick with it. Marshall had some great runs on several key touchdown drives in this game. Marshall helped <strong>Southfield </strong>take control of this game. Even if though they lost the lead temporarily, Marshall helped lead a drive to get them the lead back. Marshall ran the ball well not just in this game but all season for <strong>Southfield</strong>. I love his game and he will be a guy who has a lot of success at the collegiate level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='899620' first='Marquis' last='Peoples Jr'] | DB/WR | Belleville | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2MBRxM">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peoples makes a lot of plays defensively for this <strong>Belleville </strong>team. He made a terrific interception in this game vs <strong>Southfield</strong> that put them back in the game. Peoples had an interception in<strong> Belleville's</strong> win over <strong>Saline</strong>. Peoples is a hard-hitter who makes ball carriers pay. I love how he does not shy away from taking on blockers. Beasley was one of the main guys that this<strong> Belleville</strong> team would turn to- to take over a game. Beasley had a couple of key touchdowns in the this game against <strong>Southfield</strong> that helped them get back in the game. Beasley played well defensively also. He is a hard-hitting linebacker who is very good in coverage as well. Simes has great speed and can stretch the field vertically. Simes is an excellent return man who has great feel getting yards and breaking tackles. Simes is a guy I enjoyed watching and I believe he has a very bright future still ahead. Simes was a key part of this<strong> Belleville </strong>offense and has certainly left a great legacy. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
